GIRLS WEEKEND IN CALIFORNIA

For my neice Taylor's 16th birthday my sister, Mandi, planned a big suprise. All of the girls in my family,except for one sister, went to Cali to see Phantom of the Opera and go to Disneyland. We had a BLAST!!! Phantom was amazing. I can't believe that people can actually sing like that live. WOW!! It is always so much fun to spend time with my family.

OUR NEWEST ADDITION!!

We have a sweet new addition to our family. My youngest sister Amy and her husband Craig just had their sweet little baby girl. She was born on March 5th at 11:39 and weighed in at 6lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 inches long. She was born 4 weeks early so she is pretty good size. I am so sad that I can't be with them and see her since they live in Arizona. I probably won't be able to see her until May when they come up here. Her name is Bella Marie Rice. WELCOME TO THE WORLD BABY BELLA!! We are so happy to have you in our family.

My Five Addictions

Ok-so Amie tagged me and I am FINALLY getting around to it. Here it goes. . .

MY FIVE ADDICTIONS:

1. My husband Matt!! What can I say I can NEVER, and I mean NEVER, be around him too much. He is always so much fun and he loves to make me laugh.

2. Cuddling with my kids. They are getting big and the cuddles are getting fewer and farther between but when they cuddle up to me my heart feels like it will burst.

3. LAS VEGAS!! I don't know what it is about that place but I could seriously go every weekend and I am not even a gambler. I think I just love all the lights and the energy of the place and how there is always something going on.

4. Mexican Food-I eat myself sick!!

5. Reading-LOVE LOVE LOVE wrapping up in a blanket with a good book!!!

That's it -5-I could list more because I have many vices but we'll stop with those!!!

I LOVE TO WIN-I CAN TAKE LOSING-BUT MOST OF ALL I JUST LOVE TO PLAY!!!

Brady is still playing a ton of basketball. He plays in a league in Ogden on Tuesday nights and at Mountain Crest on Saturday mornings. The team he plays on is a great little team and have been together since they were eight years old. In all those years they have only lost about 12 games. They pretty much go undefeated in every league they play in. This year we have lost 4 games, three of which were to Box Elder. We played Box Elder on Saturday and beat them by 20 points. The boys were excited to get the win. Brady had a great game. He had 11 points, 6 rebounds, a couple of steals and a few assists. He loves to play sports so much and I don't know what we are going to do when his sporting days are over. That has been our life since he was 3 and started playing t-ball.

TERRIFIED!!!

Well, Matt just got released from being my co-gospel doctorine teacher and got put in as the 1st counselor in the young mens. And to make matters even worse-the other lady that taught with us got released too. So. . . that means I am the LONE gospel doctorine teacher-WHAT DO THEY WANT TO HAPPEN-HAVE NO ONE COME TO GOSPEL DOCTORINE? I am so scared!! It was bad enough when I had two other people to share the responsibility-now it is just ME!!!

Once in awhile life gives us a fairytale. . .

Matt and I met when I was 14 and he was 15. We were friends for a couple of years and unbeknownst to the other we had crushes on each other. When I was 16 and he was 17 we FINALLY started dating. We dated for two years and then he went on his mission. When he got home we continued to date and we were married 8 months later. Life with him has been better than I could have ever imagined. We have so much fun together. He can always make me laugh and bring me out of a bad mood. We love to travel together and look forward to the day that we can travel more often. Its crazy to think that we have been together for almost 21 years (married for 16 and dated for 4 1/2). Thanks for all the good times honey. Take my hand and grow old with me the best is yet to come!!!
