Working Hard to Play Harder: The Extended Weekend Edition

Too much to say where to begin...
Trip plans to Oregon were rearranged and left us both with a lot  of time to kill this extended weekend I dunno can the weekend extend to Wednesday?....
I have been dying to explore Little and Big Cottonwood so we planed a camping trip up to Red Pine Lake.
Little did we now that dogs are not welcome in either of the canyons at all. I had caught wind of this but did not think it could be true and well It is so after an uneventful ride..... We decided to spend the night with Mel sooo fun. We got sushi and went shopping and had Movie night/ sleepover in the living room!

The next day we had a great idea, Wanrhodes! Up Diamond Fork Canyon dog friendly;)
This is a long running family camp spot of James'. I love sharing childhood memories!

James and I hiked up to the "fat lady up on the hill" a rock that looks just like that!
Sunday hiked up to the hot pots and the waterfalls such a fun hike!

Duke is so funny he always gets all scared around splashing water.

James is so funny he always finds a favorite tree on every hike this one is it :)

Monday we got Brock out of my moms hair and took him on a bike ride up Provo Canyon
Bridalveil Falls.
Tuesday we spent the day at Lagoon we love roller coasters and Lagoon is a special place for us since It was were we had our first kiss in the line for the Rocket 5 years ago! heheh Corny but we love it and always try to go around this time of year as a memoirs!

Round 2 for sushi we couldn't get enough!
James is so crazy he loves to overload on the wasabi and give his head a rush this is the result of the last bit with the most wasabi on it!

We ended our fun today with a bike ride down to Utah lake sorry no pic's the camera died :(
Which resulted in renting a canoe and floating in the sun!
I love not having to work so much!
I guess we are jus a couple granola kids just working hard to Play even harder!
