One hundred years from now
It won't matter who you thought you were,
Who I thought you were,
How much money you had,
What kind of truck you drove,
How many cattle you had,
Or how many bulls you rode,
Nor who yer daddy was,
But it will matter if you knew Jesus.

Christmas at Mimi & Johnnys

We went to Mimi and Johnny's in Cameron to celebrate with the Youngblood (mimi's) Family on Christmas Eve. We made sure we put out the reindeer food that night before going to bed as well as a chocolate Chirstmas cupcake and a Dr. Pepper for Santa. We put Dr. Pepper out at our house too before we left. Santa left a note saying that he really enjoyed the Dr. Pepper, it was a nice change from all that milk :) We had a lot of fun with Mimi and Johnny and the kids really liked all their gifts.

Putting out the feed for the reindeer

one of Landons gifts was a new guitar...he loves to sing and dance

Kylee got a purr-fect pet do

and Landon got a deer hunting toy--with "TWO Bucks!!"

Mimi got a nice suprise from Johnny this year too...a ring!! :)
{my blog postings are kind of short and sweet, with all the other pics being on Snapfish because I am so far behind, yet determined to get them posted. And then get started on ALL that is next!....gettting stuff prioritized first and foremost!

The Polar Express

On 12-20-10 we took Landon and Kylee to Palestine to ride the Polar Express. It was so much FUN. Mimi and Johnny met us there and rode it with us too. They gave us hot chocolate on the train and Christmas Rice Krispie Treats as the ready the story of the Polar Express. Once we made it to the North Pole there was lots of lights and Santa was there. He boarded the train with us and we sang Christmas Carols all the way back to the depot while Santa took pictures with all the kids, signed their train tickets, and gave them a bell. It was a perfect Christmas trip.

Santa was stuck in a hay bale outside of Palestine, and this really concerned Landon. He really thought we should go back and get him out :)

My 31st Birthday

I turned 31 on 12-19-10, and while I was gone to evening church service Clint helped Landon and Kylee make me birthday cards. They used my craft stamp supplies, and turned out so cute.

Landon's card to his Mama

His "hand prints of LOVE" and I love your written with his thrumb print

My card from Kylee

These were two of the best birthday cards ever!! They are some sweet kids, and their Daddy isn't too bad some of the time either.
:)

Marshmallow Roast

After the Montgomery Christmas Landon and Kylee went riding their horses, and then we went to Codeman and Yaya's for chili and a marshmallow roast. The kids love to roast marshmallows and there is nothing like 5 kids with flaming marshallows! :) I love just hanging out with family and letting all the kids play. And of course it always ends in a slumber party at our house :) So we got home and had pizza at 11:00 before bed. CrAzY Kids!!

The Montgomery Family celebrated Chrismas at the Briggs Community Center again this year. We had a fish fry this year, with lots of other good food too!!!

After dinner was gift time! Aunt Donna had some of the kids come in with a gift and sing Happy Birthday to me, Heather and Aunt Ann. (hers is 16th and ours 19th) They were so cute up there, Landon grinned the whole time. All the kids liked their gift they received. Landon got a remote controlled car that everyone wanted to play with and Kylee got a leather bracelet making set.

Santa Sent Video Emails To Landon and Kylee!!

Today after picking Kylee up for Christmas Break I got home and checked emails..and guess what....Santa had emailed both of the kids!! He sent them a video from the North Pole. They loved them. Santa knew everything about them and what they are wishing for this Christmas. Even Kylee's 1,000 strawberries!!

M&M Nativity

I follow A LOT of craft blogs and see lots of cute ideas. Problem is when I repeat them, I have trouble remembering where I found them to give them credit. So in other words...I did not make this M&M Nativity Legend up. I just added Montgomery Christmas 2010 to the bottom of it for us to hand out to all of the kids at our Montgomery Family Christmas this weekend.

I just printed, cut and stapled the poem to snack size zip lock bags of red and green M&Ms

Super EASY and Super CUTE!!

Deason Snowman Family

Landon and I did a little crafting today. I saw this online somewhere and decided it would be fun for us to do together. I gathered some paint I had stored at Pappo's house to do it with. I only thought I had white paint, come to find out it was fabric medium, so it wasn't as white and snowy as I wanted it to be once it dried. But, I think it is still too cute.

I painted his hand, and stamped it to some brown paper I have.

Then I distracted him with some paint markers, and scissors while I finished creating the Deason Snowman Family

He loves "cutting stuff in half"

Hill Country Christmas Lights

Friday night (12-10-10) Clint and I took Landon to Marble Falls and Johnson City to see the Christmas lights. Grandma also came from Houston to join us. The lights were amazing! WAY worth the drive in my opinion. We stopped in Marble Falls first and went through the walkway of lights along Lake Marble Falls. Then we went on to Johnson City to see the Perdenales Building and court house. The lights at PEC were worth the drive themselves. We also went on a carriage ride around the streets to see the lights. Santa was there, and of course Landon wasn't too sure of him as usual. We all had to take our pic with him. :) I LOVE Christmas lights. We go to BLORA every year too so hopefully I can convince Clint to go again this year.
