Our Journey Together as One

After much emails with the Event Manager of Renaissance Hotel And Equatorial Hotel, comparing the packages, food, we decided to hold our wedding dinner reception at Renaissance Hotel, Melaka. We had paid deposit of RM5k to secure the grand ballroom yesterday. I’m happy and relieved, for securing a ballroom now.

For the wedding day, we initially have selected 12/12/2009 or 14/2/2010.
12/12/2009 is because of the date, no special meaning anyway.
14/2/2010 is because it is valentine’s day! So we can celebrate our anniversary on this date togather (in fact, we no need to remember so many dates later on, such as birthday, registration day, anniversary day, valentine’s day, first day when both of us meet, etc… hahaha). On top of that, i even think of giving gerber daisy for my guest! But later on, i found out that actually 14/2/2010 is first day of CNY!!! I actually very excited at that time as it seems so nice to have wedding at first day of CNY, but wondering if got people get married on first day of CNY.
After all, we have to consult master for the date. Master told us that 12/12/2009 is not a good day for married, and also not match with our and both parents’ chinese zodiac. For 14/2/2010, master said “tong shen” for year 2010 not out yet, so unable to check the date. hahaha. So, later on, he suggested us few dates and finally we have decided……..
Our wedding day will be on 6/12/2009.

We registered and vow as husband and wife 3 years ago on 8 October 2006 and 3 years after, we decided to tie a knot. Actually we have decided to get married on Nov/Dec 2008. And so, we announced to both our families and friends.
