After much consideration, we decided to source out the pre-wedding photographer from KL bridal shop instead of Melaka bridal shop. I did lots of survey and searching of info of KL bridal shops throughout internet especially from forum, malaysianbrides.
I could not recall how i got to know this Keep Gallery. The name is so unfamiliar to me. What made me stick to this Keep Gallery is their photography skills! It is really awesome and different with other bridal shops. I never been to this bridal shop before and do not even know the exact location. All the info i have is through forum and Keep Gallery website, until i found out that they were having CNY promotion. I wrote to them and we communicated through emails.
Here are the details of my package, RM2,009.
- professional make up and hairdo (ampoule RM30 per bottle is excluded)
- FOC : eyelashes, color hairspray and lotion
- 4 gowns (wedding and evening gown)
- photoshooting 200++ poses
- one 8” x 12” photo album with 20 pages and 30 poses
- one 18” x 24” photo frame
- CD-R with 30 poses return (all touch up) for those selected in the photo album (original size)
- CR-R with the remaining photos not selected (can develop up to 5R)
- one wedding gown (designer collection) for wedding day
- one evening gown (designer collection) for wedding day
- one coat for the groom
- one hand bouquet for actual day
- bridal car accessories
We let go the hand bouquet and the net price we have to pay is RM1,919. I do not know if it is a worth package. For me, the photography skills is to judge whether the package is worth or not, i.e. qualitative instead of quantitative. So, we choose KG for the photograph and albums, etc, we are not really particular. Another strong point of KG is, you able to add on pages/poses later on and the price is pretty reasonable (one full page with 3 poses are about RM50-60). So, we are not worry about that even though our package only gives us 30 poses.
And for the photo shooting location, we initially so wanted to take in historical city of Melaka, of which we have to top up another RM600 for the PG and MUA accomodation. Finally, we decided to take our photo at Petaling Street and Heritage Hotel.
