Happy Halloween 2014

Happy Halloween! We had a fun time this year dressing up as Frozen...these cuties sweated it out in their hot costumes. We went to our ward trunk or treat and then on Halloween night trick or treated with our good friends the Johnson's.

I'm so glad he wore his costume for that night...he looked so cute!

Phoenix Temple Open House

During fall break we were so happy to drive to north Phoenix to take the kids through another temple open house. What a blessing to have another temple in Arizona and to show my kids the beauty and reverence inside. It was a neat experience.

Fall Break Awesomeness 2014

We had an amazing fall break this year! We love having 2 weeks off from school and love having Doug be with us spending great quality time as a family. We decided to spend a few days at Disneyland and then went camping on the beach with some amazing families.
We went to the Mickey's trunk or Treat and loved walking around in our Frozen costumes. Awesome Grandma Udall made the adults rock troll costumes and Clark's adorable Kristoff costume. As you can see Mr. Emmett did not want to wear his Sven costume. They close the park to everyone except to those that have paid for the night trick or treat party-so we loved riding every ride. Sometimes even more than once. Felt like we had the park to ourselves.

Grant LOVED all the attention he got wearing his Olaf costume. All night long people kept saying..."Look it's Olaf!"

I just love the parades at Disney-

Emmet was just so happy to be in Cars Land meeting Mater. He LOVES watching Cars and Mater's Tall Tales so he was in heaven meeting the real thing.

The whole trip went just amazing....However I am good if I don't go to Disney for the next couple of years. Half of the fun is the anticipation and planning. The only bummer part of the trip was when my mom tripped and sprained her ankle. Thankfully it was on the last day, but it was a doozy and turned black and blue really quick.

We flew Grandma home and then went on the Carlsbad Beach. We went last year and are going to make it a yearly tradition. We go with friends and it is a complete BLAST! The kids play in the ocean all day and are exhausted by the end of the day and go to bed by 8:00 and then the adults play card games. We eat yummy food and the kids love having so many friends around.

I can't wait until next year!

Happy 2nd birthday Emmett

Our handsome guy turned 2 this month. We sure love him and are so happy to have him apart of our family. He brings us so much Joy and laughter. Emmett current favorites are

-playing catch with any sort of ball

-reading books

-talking

-sitting at the counter and eating meals just like his siblings

taking rides in the ranger(broom broom's)

holding and kissing the bunnies

-riding bikes and scooters around the house

-building train tracks

-favorite TV shows are daniel tiger and chuck and friends

-getting his brother riled up at bedtime

-slapping your leg to get your attention

-giving kiss and snuggles
