Surviving the Road Trip

Kids were trying to get truckers to honk. They were successful once.
Our oldest son "not" picking his nose.

I took all of our kids on a road trip all by myself to go and visit my hubby, their daddy, for Thanksgiving.  He was in a 10 week training program many miles from home.

Birthday Bike ~ November 2010

He received his first new bike for his 7th birthday!  His last bike was a purple hand-me-down from his sister.  I gave him his bike at night and it was too dark to ride.  I told my boy that he could ride it in the morning before school if he woke up early.  It was only 30 degrees the next morning, but he had fun for about 20 minutes before he was too frozen to ride and came in to warm up.
On our road trip a few days later, we saw this big green bike being hauled by a truck.  The kids thought it was funny to see such a huge bike.

I can't believe he's 7!

In November of 2010 our youngest son turned 7!  He wanted a B-2 Bomber cake.  I found this camoflage cake and added the B-2's that I found in the toy section, too bad the "7" is backwards.  Of course, my 7 yr. old was the first to notice.
Only a few friends came, but they were crazy and loud!
The cake was yummy and we all had a fun time.

Talent Show!

Our 11 year old daughter won 2nd place in a talent show at her school on November 5, 2010!  She practiced really hard and it paid off.  She performed a gymnastics routine to the song "Tantrum."  Her prize was large pizza and a box of donuts.
