Ready for Summer

What a fast spring this was.  Not sure we really had a spring weather wise, but after the winter we were so happy with the heat that is here now.
Emily graduated from preschool and is exciting for kindergarten to start.  Jonny will finish 3 grade and Michael will advance to junior.

Made creepy apples with Dad.

 Finished Spring Rec Soccer

Jonny is the with the ball.  Michael will play summer soccer was was asked to coach 3rd and 4th grade girls.  I never got to see a game as his games were the same time as Emillys but he finished in time to watch Jonnys game.

Ballet recitial was next on list.
Waiting for curtain call.  It was a 3 hour performance with all from the ballet school, good thing we were with in the1st hour.

Sarah and Millie were able to come. :) and finally wiped out.  She really loves to dance and asks every day when she has ballet again.
School is out tomorrow and our summer is filled with soccer and playing.  As Jonny puts it, "it is like a never ending saturday"

Ice fishing

Ice fishing this year has been a challenge.  Emily has been waiting all fall and finally the weekend came. 3 hour drive to get there and upon arrival, roads to the ice house were closed.  So two very disappointed kids and Chris turned around and came home.  2 weeks later they attempt it again and finally they get to stay and play where, as Emily puts it, "there are no rules, just fun and food".
Dad cooks and they watch movies and fish.
1st catch.  Walleye caught at Lake of the Woods.

Kids are disappointed, they caught this fish as Chris was packing up and they couldn't eat it.

Happy Birthday Millie
