Another Summer has ended and a new school year has begun. September is always such a great month for new beginnings. It is nice to get back on a schedule from a relaxing summer and have a little structure back in our lives. The kids were very excited to start school this year. I miss having them home...but I am really liking my FREE time. Sadie started kindergarten this year so I have every morning to do what I want. It sure is nice laying around, running erands ALONE, blogging, exercising, cleaning, computer...etc...I miss the kids but its good to have them back in school.
Rachel is in the "8th" grade...glad to not be a sevie anymore.

Jake is in the "5th" grade...Mrs. Hunsaker

Will is in the "3rd" grade...Miss Martin

Every year our neighborhood does a breakfast on the first day of school. The Gublers moved and they have always done the breakfast so we wondered if someone would take over the tradition. The Jensens were nice enough to throw it together. It really is a fun tradition to see everyone before school and get to eat and hang out with friends.

Sadie started kindergarten the week after the kids started. We did alot of fun activities the week the kindergarteners were home. Trax & fountains at gateway, picnic at the park and a pool party at the Deans. There are 15 kids in our ward that started kindergarten this year...9 girls and 6 boys.
All I can say is FUN times ahead for these kids.
