U2's 360 TOUR

Tuesday was the long awaited rescheduled U2 Concert. We gave Rachel and Jake tickets Christmas 2009 to go see U2 with Mike and I in Seattle last summer when we were up on the Oregon coast. When Bono hurt his back and had to have back surgery and they rescheduled we sold our Seattle tickets and got 4 General Admissions to the Salt Lake show this last week. The concert was UNBELIEVABLE... it was so good. This was a concert experience we will NEVER forget. We went up with our friends the Jefferies and we got to the stadium at about 4:0o (not too bad because they started letting people in about 5:15). When we went in there were a ton of people already in the middle section but nobody on the left side...umm the Edge's side :) So we ran up and got all 8 of us spots along the bar. Nobody was in front of us (except the press for the first few songs, which was funny cause we made the Tribnews and Deseret news) so we had an AWESOME unobstructed view the whole time. This was Mine and Mike's 5th time seeing U2 and I can say this was their ABSOLUTE best show EVER...LOVED IT :)Waiting outside the stadium.

Thanks Jefferies for hanging out with us. We had a GREAT time :)

SPRING PIANO RECITAL

The kids had their spring piano recital today at my parents house. I sure love to hear them practice every morning. It is nice to see them become good at something that neither Mike nor I can do. This has been a few crazy busy weeks at our house. It is nice that a lot of our activities are coming to an end for the summer. I think we are all ready for a break from the craziness :)RACHEL'S PIECES:

ELITE DANCE RECITAL

Sadie had her Elite Dance recital last week. It was fun to see all the hard work these cute dancers put into their performances. Sadie has really improved this year and is LOVING every minute she gets to dance. She is in pure heaven when she is on stage performing...ummm pretty sure she didn't get that from me! It was fun to have both sets of grandparents, Melanie, Chloe, Rachel and Will (Jake was at scouts working on a merit badge) all there to support her.
Good job SADIE BUG :)

BABY BIRDS

We found a nest on our back porch light again this year. This year it has been fun to see the eggs actually hatch. These poor little birds have really had a cold, wet spring. It is fun to see the mother go and get food and put it in the babies mouths. So sweet :)
These birds sure are growing fast!!!
