6 Deans + a Dog

Last weekend we did the DIRTY DASH race again this year up at Soldier Hollow. Last year we had 20 women from our ward that did it and this year we had 20 women, 10 men and 8 teens. The race was a 10k, with a mud climb, balance beams, tunnel crawl, climb over hay bells , wall climb, rolling pipe crawl, tire course, wading through a swamp, rope wall, rope swing, slip n slide and ending in a mud pit.The obstacles were so much better this year. We had such a great time getting DIRTY with all of our friends. Can't wait until next year.

We FINALLY got cement laid on the side of our house. Now we have a place to park the truck and the kids can play basketball. It was such a quick process. They came on a Wednesday afternoon at 12:00 to prepare the area, the cement came at 8:00 am the next day and they were done by 4:00. We are so HAPPY with how it turned out :)

LOVE the finished product...too bad we couldn't have replaced the driveway and had it all new... now that would have looked good :)

We had a great time camping over Labor Day weekend with 4 families in our ward. We had such a fun time. All the kids had someone to hangout with. Cute Rachel Bruce didn't have someone her age so she helped take care of Diesel for us. We camped at The Blackhawk campground by Payson Lake. The nice thing is I wasn't in charge of this camping trip so I was just given some food assignments and than to just show up :) Some of the other moms got together and picked the campsite and decided our meals. They did an awesome job planning. We camped in a group spot that was perfect for everyone to be together. It sure is nice the older the kids get to camp and be able to just hangout and enjoy the company.
