WALKING CARPOOL

Rachel walks to school every morning with these guys. She comes out and meets Ellie and Ben on Morning Star and than they walk over and grab Taylor and Spencer on Capricorn. Last Monday Spencer's mom came out and said, "Wait I want to get a picture of the walking carpool." Spencer was like, "Mom it's not the first day of school or anything." When Rachel told me I thought it was so funny and when Spencer put it on Facebook I just had to add it to my blog :)

OLYMPUS HOMECOMING

Rachel had the Homecoming dance last Saturday night. My niece Annie did Rachel's hair and makeup. She went with one of her friends Jake Hamilton. For their day date they went to Solitude and played frisbee golf. There were 16 couples in her group. Everyone met at Drew Crump's for pictures before dinner (as soon as I see some on Facebook I will post them on my blog :) They had dinner at the Jasmine and after the dance they went to Carter Greene's grandparents house and watched a movie. She had such a great time and is really loving Highschool. She is turning into such a beautiful girl. It is still so hard for us to believe that she is 16 and now dating...

VEGAS BABY

We had our annual girls trip to Vegas last weekend. This is our 6th year of going. We once again stayed in Michele Chisholm's dads house. It was such a fun and relaxing weekend. I just love all of the great friends we have in our ward. We are so lucky to live where we do. We didn't do much shopping this year. Instead we swam, laid out, ate, talked, laughed and went to A show at Treasure Island - Cirque Du Soleil Mystere (which was AMAZING!) We sure missed those that couldn't come this year :(

MILLCREEK CANYON

A few weeks ago we went up the canyon with the Nelson Crew and BBQ'd hamburgers and hung out and played games. Being up there sure gets me excited for Fall :) We missed our Illinois Crew :(

GRANDEUR PEAK

On Labor Day we hiked Granduer Peak up Millcreek Canyon with my sisters family and some of their friends in their ward. It was such a beautiful hike and a great way to spend the Holiday morning. We saw a ton of people we knew on the trail. We weren't quite sure if Sadie would make it but she did :) I stayed with her the whole time and was SO PROUD of her to not give up and make it to the top. It was 6.25 miles from the car to the top and back. That's pretty far for an 8 year old! I just love where we live. We are so lucky to live around such gorgeous places to explore and spend time together outside :)

The views were absolutely BREATH TAKING!!!!

SCHOOL has BEGUN

Another year has begun and we are now in FULL SWING of SCHOOL, HOMEWORK and EXTRA curricular activities. Summer is beginning to feel like a blurr. Like we never even had it :(

Rachel is in 11th Grade at Olympus High!

Jake is in 8th Grade at Olympus Jr.High!

Will is in 6th Grade at Driggs Elementary!

Sadie is in 3rd Grade at Driggs Elementary!

We had our annual back to school neighborhood breakfast. Thanks to the Jensen's for hosting again this year. It is always so fun getting together and seeing friends first thing in the morning and than heading off to school together.
