6 Deans + a Dog

 Will played in a soccer tournament over President's Day weekend in Mesquite.  Will, Sadie and I took off Thursday afternoon and came home Monday afternoon. (Mike and Jake stayed home to work on our basement bathroom and Rachel stayed home for the Valentine's dance.)  Rachel came down to St. George with 3 friends Saturday afternoon after the dance and stayed until Monday. We stayed in St. George with the Little's and commuted back and forth to Mesquite for the games.  Will's team played in 3 games.  Game 1 - LOSS, Game 2 - TIE, Game 3 - WIN.  Seems like that is always our pattern for tournaments.  The weather was absolutely FABULOUS - mid 60s - low 70s.  HEAVENLY :)  It was nice to get away and spend time with my kids and friends.  The field they played on was HORRIBLE... the grass had some serious issues.

 Look at that CUTE prego lady :)  I'm not quite sure she would agree.  I just LOVE Holly.  She is such a great friend.  Only 6 weeks and baby Sawyer will be here.  CAN'T WAIT!

 

So EXCITED for Spring!

Rachel had the Valentines Dance last Friday night.  She went with her good friend Drew Crump.  There were 5 couples in her group.  They ate at Cafe Rio, went to the OLY basketball game, Dance, Mini golfing and our house to watch a movie (which her AWESOME dad had homemade cookies waiting for them :) .  It was another fun dance!

I am so LUCKY to have such great VALENTINES in my life :)
I LOVE being a WIFE and a MOM.  Nothing brings me more happiness then to see that Mike and my kids are happy.  Thanks for being the best husband and kids a wife/mom could ask for.  I LOVE YOU ALL :)

 

 

 The kids had their winter piano recital a few Sundays ago.  Each of the kids played 2 songs.  Here is Grandma Ruthie with all of her students. They are so LUCKY to have her as their teacher :)

   They all did such a GREAT JOB!!!

 I haven't put pics of Diesel on the blog for a while... so it's about time :)  Diesel has been in our family for 4 yrs and 6 months.  Crazy how fast that time has gone.  He is still my furry little buddy.  He comes and cross guards with me, snuggles with me, begs when I cook and eat, barks at me for about 20 minutes each day after I get home from the school while I continually throw his toy for him to fetch and he sleeps snuggled by me almost every night.  We couldn't ask for a better dog.  WE LOVE HIM!
 

 

 

 We had a super bowl party last Sunday at my parents home.  We ate lots of junk food, those that cared about the game watched it and the rest of us played pinball and games in the basement.  It was a fun get together.  We missed Jed and Mandy's family and of course Melanie and Brad's family who still live in Illinois :)
