Life changes

I just have to say that the Lord puts things in your life when you are ready for them. With so many people close to me finding out they have cancer, it has impacted me and made me want to be better and lower my risk and families risk of getting it. In the last couple months I have been able to attend a few classes on health and healing.  I was introduced to Doterra Essential Oils that are a Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oil, which actually makes them the purest on the market today. (They run extra test beyond what the FDA requires on every batch to make sure they were grown properly with no chemicals, composition, weeds, or even insects mixed in.) They have been a blessing to my families lives.  Learning about why the people started the business gave me knowledge about toxic chemicals in most everyday products that we use (a lot of them are found to cause cancer).  Doterra focuses on purity so we can heal and be healthy with out chemicals or synthetics. We have used them for ear infections, pink eye, thrush, colds, coughs, sinus pressure, sore throat, scrapes, snoring, anxiety, headaches, pain, and I actually make my own all natural deodorant, body wash, and cleaning solutions using the oils. (I will eventually make more things but Im not one to waist things that I have paid money for so as they run out I will make a natural product for it, next on my list is diaper cream and facial moisturizer)  Im actually WAY excited about making my own stuff because 1) I know what is in it (free of toxic chemicals) 2) ITS CHEAPER!!
Here is the body wash I made.  I got the recipe from this site: http://proverbs2six.blogspot.com/2010/01/homemade-bodywash.html
but I used Castile soap and 15 drops of Doterra Essential Oils (I also double the recipe)
(no thats not milk, lol  its the distilled water jug full of fabulous chemical free body wash.)
It will not lather the same because it does not have the toxic chemical called Sodium Laureth (Laurel) Sulfate that is found in most soaps and shampoos that make them lather. http://www.healthymuslim.com/articles/wqduu-safety-data-sheet-for-sodium-lauryl-sulfate---its-in--your-shampoos-toothpastes-and-handwashes.cfm (just one site with references about SLS)
No lather doesn't mean its not cleaning!!!

I have also had the opportunity to attend a few cooking classes by the cancer project. (http://cancerproject.org/)   They have given me more information and some of the same info to help prevent cancer.  I get too overwhelmed thinking about how much i would have to change but Im not going to let it consume me.  Im taking it a day at a time and slowly working "healthy cancer fighting meals" in our menu.
Top picture is Party Pasta Salad with a green smoothy, bottom picture is Confetti Enchiladas. SOOO YUMMY!  I got the recipe's from http://www.wholefoodmommies.com (They call for whole wheat noodles and tortillas...baby steps)

Believe it or not both Doterra and the Cancer Project have proven that the body can heal itself and can get rid of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and other diseases.

I am so thankful for what I have been learning and I would love to share more if you are interested in a healthier lifestyle.  I love Doterra Essential Oils so much that I am now doing it as a business and can help you with any heath concern that you may have.

So I really need to be better with posting.  Im sorry I have been plugging everything into one post...life is crazy!
Anyway, we went to hobby lobby to so I could make my FHE board so we will actually start having Family Home Evening.  So I got the stuff I needed and I let the girls pick out something for them to paint and the color they wanted.  They picked bird houses.

I forgot to take a final pic but Eastyns was about like that (short attention span) and Jefrie painted all of hers.
Here is my finished product....the girls picked out what animal they wanted to be, Jefrie- turtle, Eastyn- ducky, Nolan- bear.  Can you guess which on is Aaron?
We love when Nana and Papa come visit!
Eastyn knows Papa will always read her storied if she brings him a book
 So fun!
Nolan is 5 months now and getting so squirmy!  He is such an angel.  He is eating cereal like a pro and loves green beans! (thats all we have tried so far)

blessing, camping, temple, and just some cute pics

 My 3 kiddos playing!

Aaron and I went to Park City for a night away from the kiddos last month. (Much needed) and we brought home some jewelry  for the girls.
 They loved it!

Nolan was blessed Aug. 5th by his Daddy in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  It was a beautiful blessing.  I love my husband and love that he holds the priesthood.
Nolan was a happy baby through the whole thing.

 3 MONTHS OLD!!!

We went camping at Bear Lake with Aaron's family this month and had a really fun time.  We rented a boat this time and I was able to get up and wake board again.  I just need to get into shape now so I can be better next year.
Eastyn loved playing on the beach in the sand.  She went on one boat ride and just sat on my lap lookin out...I dont think she knew if she liked it or not.
Jefrie LOVED the boat.  Almost every time they went out she went with and just smiled the whole time. (She likes going fast)
 Nolan chilled under the canopy.

 Waking up in the tent.
 The girls loved camping!

Practicing writing on their white boards from gma Crider
 chillin on moms lap

Having fun in the back yard

We were able to go to the open house of the Brigham City Temple.  It was so beautiful!  The tour went rather well with my 3 kids thanks to Tracie and a cute lady that helped me out with Eastyn while we walked around.  I had someone tell me I was pretty brave for bringing all 3 and that they were impressed with how well behaved they were.  That made me feel good.

I have no idea what they were pointing at but it sure is a cute picture.

 Riding bikes at home.
