Recent Happenings
Well, I am certainly overdue for an update on this blog! I hope you enjoy seeing afew pictures and quotes from the last few months.

November took me to the Bay area, San Francisco, to run a half marathon with my friend Laura. The Day before the race we did a little sight seeing and enjoyed a ship tour and a clam chowder bread bowl yum!

Laura looking on at the Golden Gate bridge in the distance of which we were anticipating running across the next day.

Such a beautiful day in San Fran! The next day, race day, however, was cloudy and pouring rain. Not the best for a half marathon but we made it across that finish line...sopping wet!

November brought lots of blessings which included my brother and his family to our house for Thanksgiving! We had so much fun with them and the kiddos and Pat and it was really nice to have them here.

Tessa showing me that orange cones can also be worn as hats. Such a little character!

We got to host a birthday party for sweet little Jacey who is now one already! She enjoyed her cake quite a bit!

Tim and I with Grandpa Jack at Thanksgiving. It was good to have him over for the big meal.

Tim smoked the turkey for Thanksgiving and it turned out so delicious!

Auntie Angi loving on the kiddos! Can't get enough of them!

Uncle Tim and Paxton dueling it out with the birthday party whistles.

Chad and Kass with Jacey before the cake

Tim and I at Christmas Eve dinner at Harvey's Lake Tahoe.

Tim and I on the Ski lift Christmas Day at Sierra. I hadn't been skiing in 6 years and Tim was so patient to coach me down each run.

Christmas Day at the Ben Woodside's in Folsom included good food, good times and lots of Guitar Hero...for five hours!

Kathy made us all an apron for Christmas!

We had our Idaho Christmas in January with my family. The trip was short and fast but was so good to be home and see my family!

Mom and Pa all dressed up after church.

Tim and I with Pa at his jobsight.

I had so much fun making these dolls for my two nieces for Christmas and I was so glad they loved them!

I also enjoyed soldering these necklaces for gifts. I have wanted to learn how for so long and I finally did it!

The first pendant I made was for Kayleigh and it was a success with her help! I had so much fun having her stay the night and hang out while she was off for Christmas break.

I hope everyone is having a great New Year so far!

Beau and Nina's Wedding

Beau and Nina's Wedding
The Uniting of two good friends is always a blessing to whitness. Last weekend we were happy and honored to be a part of the wedding of two good friends, Beau and Nina. They asked Tim if he would perform the wedding so he got ordained and he did such a great job! Nina asked me to be a bridesmaid and I was also very honored! It was a beautiful wedding!
Here are a few pics I took.
