ABBY AND PRESTON

We have had a wonderful Christmas. However, by Friday night, we were completely exhausted. I think we are going to have to move out of the house for all of the toys.

We go to my parent's early Christmas morning. Preston thought it was hilarious that dad got my mom a hoe. Preston got a batman car that he just had to have and some cowboy boots. We got my dad a night's stay at Mt. Leconte in the Smokies. He has been wanting to do that hike for awhile. The stay is in August. I think Samuel and Tony may go with him. Samuel left for Gatlinburg Christmas afternoon to meet Valerie and her family.

Preston has been wanting this 4-wheeler for awhile. He was so excited. He has wore the tires off of it since Christmas morning. Tony read "Twas the Night before Christmas" before bed on Christmas eve. Santa ate all of the milk and cookies. Abby was happy just playing with the paper.

We always go to Tony's dad's sister's house for Christmas Eve. It is usually a full house. I usually take the kids pj's for them to change into. It is very hard to get any good family shots or "still" pictures at the gathering.

Tony and Preston attended this party, because Abby was sick with a fever. I really missed seeing everyone.

Mom come down tonight and her and Preston built a gingerbread house. I bought this a few weeks ago, and he has been so excited about it. The picture of Abby is before we left for Preston's party. Notice in the school pictures in the previous post, that Preston is standing close to the girl in the red sweater. That is Ava. He loves Ava.

Preston was out of school today, but he just had to go to his Christmas party. During the party, the class went to the other building and sang songs for the smaller children. Preston had a lot of fun.

See if you can find Derrick. He is about the size of a "gnat" in this photo.

Look close and see if you can find Derrick Stone. Derrick and I hiked to Cedar Sink today.

For those of you that don't know, this is our third annual Christmas Party. We had a ball. We have had to slim down our invites due to family additions. We wish we could invite all of our friends, but the space will not allow. It is a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. This year we had 40-50 people. The pictures above are of Preston's friends having hot cocoa. Several of his friends stayed late and had a ball. We have the Santa part of the party in our basement.
