ABBY AND PRESTON

Yes! I just wanted to tell you what a genius he is! On Friday we were reading a book about apple trees. We were discussing how in the spring the trees have buds on them, which turn into blossoms, then into apples. I was explaining how a bud is closed and a blossom is open. Preston said, "Hey! It's just like the bugs I brought! They are closed in the egg, larvae, and pupa. Then they open up." I was so impressed with his answer-that was a great connection. Be sure to brag on him for it! :)

Abby placed 1st runner up in the EC fair. She did so good waving at everyone. At the end, I went down to try to get a picture. She spotted me and started crying pointing at me.

This week has been crazy. Preston started t-ball last week, so we had practice Thursday night. Preston had the stomach virus and had to miss school on Wed. Preston also done wonderful at school this week. He read a book to the entire class and read his first book to me. Preston is learning how to cope with distractions at school and get his work done. His teacher is wonderful and really cares about her students. He is loving school. Abby is trying to learn to feed herself with a fork and spoon as you can see in the picture. She loves her popper and the stairs is her favorite place to hang out. She can also climb the stairs when mommy is watching. However, taking a bath with brother in the big bathtub is her favorite thing!
