Twilight

Last night the Ladies from Altus fought the crowds (ok so that is a little exaggerated) to see Twilight. A group of my friends and I had t-shirts made saying "Bite Me Edward" for the movie. We all enjoyed the movie and wanted to slip back into the world of Twilight. Robert Patterson did a good job playing Edward.

Latest Art projects

Smiles was supposed to disguise a Turkey for school and this is what we collaborated on and ended up with. I think it turned out really cute. She did most of the cutting too. Sadie was really upset that she did not have a turkey to dress up but she managed to make something really cute out of the scraps. (if you click on the pictures you will probably be able to see them better)

FIVE....

We where lucky enough to have DH home with us. Smiles started the day by having her choice of a Pop tart for breakfast and a new outfit (Hannah Montana shirt and black pants). I then made cupcakes for her class and then she came home and we opened presents and she had her birthday dinner (chicken, mashed potatoes n' gravy and don't forget the vegetables). That dinner was her choice. We made a really easy cake (after the cupcakes my had was tired), and then watched Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Pictures...

We decided to go up to the local wildlife refuge and take some pictures. We had a lot of fun and learned that we need to go earlier (lighting and heat). I think that everyone had fun and we got some good shots. It is fun learning and I am looking forward to even better pictures down the road.

Hallowee a little late

Here is our Halloween a little late. Fun and candy was had by all. I must admit that in the middle of last week with bowl still over half full I through all the candy in the garbage.DH helped the kids carve their pumpkins while I was at class and then on the night of Halloween we all dressed up. We tried to steel DH's older brothers costume as a 80's punk rocker but only succeeded in making DH look like a skin head. Mind you we only thought of him looking like a skin head after we where almost finished tricker-treating. Hopefully we did not offend anyone.
