Don't Mix with Food, a totally inappropriate post

So, I just had to follow that ham post by an advertisement I hold dear to my heart:

Jon Hamm's John Ham

Hope you find it . . enticing.

Onomatopoetic Ellie

Holding a piece of ham, Ellie looked up at me and asked, "Mommy, will you please scrumble this up for me?"

"Scrumble it up?" I clarified.

"Yes. It needs to be scrumbled."

So I turned it into a little ham roll, like she always likes.

"Thanks, mom."

Ellie Tells it Like it is, part 3

Chloe: Mom! Ellie hit me!

Ellie: No, I didn't.

Chloe: Yes, you did. You hit me.

Ellie: No, I didn't! I just punched ya.

Great Expectations

The other night our library had a cool Dr. Suess Birthday Party. It was advertised to have stories, a magician, treats, and other hoopla. I wasn't able to go (home with poor sick birthday baby), and Ellie fell asleep early, but Mike took Chloe.

When they got home, I asked Chloe how the party was. I asked her, "Did you like the magician??"

Her response: "Well, it was just a human doing some magic."

JUST A HUMAN???

(The funniest part about this to me was, despite her expectation of a non-human magician, she only relented and agreed to go because there were going to be treats.)
