The 3 of us were at it again, canning away. This time we canned homemade applesauce. Makenna's little hands were grabbing for anything and everything in sight.

I had Makenna down for a nap and I heard her start to cry. She hadn't been asleep for very long so I thought I'll just let her be and she'll go back to sleep. After a few minutes I gave in and went in to check on her and this is what I found. Makenna standing up in her crib. Oh my... I lowered the mattress as soon as Ryan got home that night.

Makenna thought since she doesn't have any pillows in her crib she would just use the bumper pad.

Makenna was not a big fan of the pumpkins. She screamed when I sat her down next to them.

Makenna has a new playmate. John and Candy Franzen had a little boy on Tuesday. He was 7 lb 7oz and 20 1/2 inches long. They named him Davyn John.
