I think Makenna is mad at the weather like the rest of us. I had to bundle her up in her winter coat, gloves, boots, and hat since it was so cold out today. It even snowed. Isn't it spring?????

The Ackerman family has been taking advantage of the warmer weather the past few days. Makenna loves to play outside and go on golf cart rides.

1 Year Ago
Getting ready to head to the hospital to be induced.

Contractions getting stronger.
And....It's a Girl. The look on my face looks like what in the world. Even though Ryan and I didn't find out the sex of the baby everyone had me convinced I was having a boy. I was even getting boy clothes, blankets, etc... The doctor told Ryan when the baby makes his/her appearance he could tell me if he/she was a boy or girl... and I remember thinking when he said It's a girl. I kept looking at him thinking What, but I thought it was going to be a boy.

One thing I have noticed in Makenna's 1st year of life... I have so many pictures of Ryan and Makenna and hardly any of Makenna and me. My goal for this next year is to take more pictures with me in them.

Happy Birthday Makenna
I can't believe that Makenna is 1 year old today. These are some pictures we had taken for her first birthday. I just love her birthday outfit and can't wait to put her back in it for her birthday party Saturday, along with some added items. She's going to look quite stylish. Happy Happy Birthday Makenna. Mommy and Daddy love you so much.
