Makenna got a new toy for the lake...Makenna's World. It may be big and very bulky, a pain to air up, take down, and store, but it will be worth every dirty look and mumble grumble Daddy gives Mommy because Makenna LOVES it.

Grandma Franzen got to cut Makenna's bangs for the first time yesterday. Most kids cry when they have to get their hair cut, but not Makenna. She cried when it was all done. Mom had to keep acting like she was cutting her hair to make her happy. It was hilarious.

I had my 20 week sono this week and the baby is doing great. Very healthy and already weighs 1 lb. Yikes. The baby is measuring a week ahead of schedule so I was excited to think they would move my due date up. No such luck. The date stays the same I may just be on the works of having a big baby. Not what a mother wants to hear. OUCH. We didn't find out the sex. Still going to be surprised.

Makenna, Great Grandma Franzen and I were back at it again...canning green beans and peas. We canned 13 pints and we're ready to do it again. Next if my tomatoes ever ripen it will be salsa time. At the rate my tomatoes are going though we may be canning green beans again. Yummy Yummy.
