Ashlyn Eileen

Our Thanksgiving baby turned into a Halloween baby.

Quite to Ryan and my surprise I woke up at about 3 a.m. and my water had broke. We got everything ready to go and took Makenna to my mom's house and headed to the hospital. Ashlyn Eileen Ackerman was born at 10:55 a.m. Oct. 28. and was 7 lb 11. oz and 20 inches long. Pretty good size baby since she was a month early. We are all doing great and so far Makenna has been a great big sister. She loves holding Ashlyn and giving her lots of kisses. I hope this continues. We shall see.

Randoms

This is what Makenna looks like after eating an Oreo cookie.

Makenna wears her boots every chance she gets. She will even put them on over her footed pajamas. I even caught her laying in bed with her Daddy watching cartoons with her boots on.

Daddy, Makenna, and I pulled carrots out of the garden so we could can them today. This was the first one we pulled and I couldn't believe it. It was gigantic.

Painting Pumpkins at Nana's House

Makenna and Maddie got to paint pumpkins today at their Nana's house. I had a few pumpkins out of the my garden that was just the perfect size for them to paint. They did a really good job until the end Makenna was getting more on her face and in her hair. The girls seemed to enjoy it.
