Serenade Of The Seas
Finally after bugging Ryan enough about going on vacation he finally gave in and gave me the go ahead to plan a trip. I wasted NO time at all in contacting a travel agent, booking a cruise, and booking some flights. We had the most AMAZING trip. Oh my gosh it was AWESOME. We flew in to San Juan, Peorto Rico and that is where we boarded the ship. We left there on a Sunday night and went to St. Croix, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Kitts/Nevis and spent the last day at sea and returning to San Juan on Saturday morning. The first thing I did when I got back was contacted our travel agaent and said I would be in contact with her again about another cruise. I'm thinking Hawaii, Alaska, Caribbean again, and for sure a Disney Cruise with the girls.

I think I could of made this one.
This is the Captain of Serenade of the Seas. In his off time he sails with his wife in the South Pacific. What a life!
Since this was our first cruise I had no idea the pools were salt water. That's a little bit of a shock when you get in and get a taste of the salt. YUCK!

They had a Belly Flop competition and this guy from Peorto Rico was the winner.
Our room.
Our teeny tiny bathroom.

Just leaving San Juan and it was a tad windy.

Shooting some hoops on the ship. We played a game of Horse and the girls won by the way. Just sayin'.
Boys will be Boys. Hilarious!

Tough guys on board.
Formal night.
I've got some great tan lines going on.

Someone forgot to pack black socks.
Midnight Buffet

This is the spot we had breakfast at every morning. Matt kept calling it Groundhogs Day (like the movie) because we had the same breakfast every morning and sat in the same seat. Breakfast was always my favorite part of the day because we had this lady from Jamaica that greeted us every morning with..."Good Moooorning, Hola Hola, Buenos Dias, Good Mooorning beautiful people." Awwww I LOVED her. I told Ryan I wanted him to greet me that way every morning, but he hasn't done it yet. HA HA The morning we were going home I was going to get my picture with her and video tape her, but she wasn't there. It ruined my day.

Having a few drinks and playing some Euchre.
Some of the staff singing farewell to us at the last show on the ship. BOO HOO...
All the dining room staff singing farewell to us at dinner. BOO HOO...
This shirt has a funny story. Our wonderful brother-in-law, Derek always has hilarious gifts that he puts in Momo Ackerman's grab bag during Christmas. Usually it's a picture of him and of course with his autograph. Well this year he wrapped this shirt in wrapping paper with his picture on hit. Hilarious!! And for those of you that may not know DC to us stands for Dave Christians, who is Ryan's Uncle. I ended up with the shirt (Thank You Derek) and packed it along for the trip. Showing love to you DC in San Juan, Peorto Rico. MUAH!
