Barbie Makeover

Before I headed back to school, my mom, Kassidi, Keeg, Kenz, Kenna and Ashlyn all went to Indy for the day to the Indy Children's Museum. What a neat place to go. We happened to show up at Barbie just in time for Kenz and Kenna to get a Barbie makeover and walk the runway. It was so fun and hilarious!!!!

The model.

Practicing her runway walk.

Getting the outfit.

Getting hair and makeup done.
Lookin' good girls.

Kenna was a little shy. She walked out and just stopped. Finally someone had to come help her back to the backstage area. It was a riot.

Kenzie walking the runway.

Time for an autograph.

I just had to share this AWESOME picture with everyone. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on me, which is unheard of, but thanks to Tracy and Jamie they shared their pictures with me. This is all of Aunt Janet's great nieces and nephews (minus my brother's kids) on their first day of school at Gifford Grade School. Love the tradition of taking a first day of school picture in front of Aunt Janet's memorial rock. She would be so proud of all these sweeties.

♥ Miss her so incredibly much. ♥

In the picture is....Baby Brady, Taylor, Ashlyn, Mikayla, Makenna, Cooper, Rowdy, Bryce, Carter and Dalton.

Taylor, Cooper and Rowdy are Angie and Jimmy Hanangan's kids.

Bryce and Dalton are Tracy and Ben Gernentz's kids.

Mikayla, Carter and Brady are Jamie and Corey Evan's kids.

I love the fact that Jamie and I were attatched at the hip growing up and now all our kids are playing and spending every day together at Tracys. ♥

Go Cubs Go!

Rob and Shannon Summers, Brad Barr and Patti and Shane Harris

The view from our hotel.

Thanks to Brad Barr we got to go to the Cub Cardinal game in St. Louis a couple weeks ago. We had a great time watching the game in style in Mike Barr's suite. I may not have been able to enjoy a frosty beverage at the game, but that didn't stop me from having 3 plates of nachos with lots of jalapenos, several servings of pasta, a hot dog, brownie, and a chocolate chip cookie. Loved the unlimited food option in the suite.

Mike Eiskamp and Ryan watching the game.

Great seats.

The Cubs manager getting kicked out of the game.

A Cardinal fan and a Cub fan.

The game started out great with the Cubs scoring 5 in the first inning, but that came to an end real quick. The Cubs lost, but it was still fun to be at the ballpark taking in a game. Every inning Brad's dad would come up to me and offer to take me get a new outfit. I think he would of bought me anything I wanted no matter the cost if I would of agreed. Gotta stay faithful to my Cubbies!!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma Franzen

Happy Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mom! Love You!!

13 Week Sono

I had my 13 week sono yesterday. I took Ashlyn's to Tracy's house and took Makenna to the appointment with me. She was super excited, but really confused. She thought she was going to get to hold the baby and feed the baby. When we got back into the room Makenna was sitting in a chair right next to me, but decided that she wanted to lay next to me while the sono was going on. So Sweet. It was wonderful seeing her face light up when she saw the baby moving around. What a special moment. Everything was great and wonderful until the lady kept saying the baby was in the wrong position. She worked and worked to get what she needed, but finally told me I needed to go walk for 20 mins. to try and get the baby to move. So Makenna and I headed to the lobby and walked and walked with several people giving us some weird looks. My name is called and back in we go. The lady says again well the baby moved, but he/she is still not in the right position. She tried again for 10 or so mins and sent me out to the lobby again to do some more walking. At this point Makenna had had it and was begging for me to take her to Tracy's so she could go play with her friends. Finally 20 mins. later back in I go. The lady gives me another look and says, "Usually after the third time around I can get what I need, but you might be the first to not get what I need." That's just great. Finally after two 20 min. walks and a hour and 20 mins. later she got what she needed. Geez. I sent Ryan a text and told him that I think we're in trouble and I'm taking this a sign.

After the sono we got to meet with the fabulous Dr. Helfer. I absolutely love her. She said everything was looking great and according to my sono my date looks to be a Valentines baby, but they are keep my original date of Feb. 9 as my due date. She also said at 34 weeks I'll have to start coming in weekly so they can keep a close eye on me. Since I went at 36 weeks with Ashlyn there is a possibility I can go early with this one as well. I'll be sure to have everything ready to go by Christmas then. HA HA
