Chicago Marathon

I did something crazy the other day and signed up to run in the Chicago Marathon.  It's probably not a good sign that just by signing up for the race that I about had a panic attack. ;)   It's a good thing I have until Oct. to prepare myself for this 26.2 mile journey because I'm going to need it.    I came across this picture while I was researching the marathon and couldn't help but laugh and think this could very well be me at the finish line or heck maybe at mile 15 or so. HAHA

St. Louis Boat Show

A group of us went down to St. Louis for the weekend and spent a day at The Boat Show.  The first booth when we walked in were the Swamp People, RJ and Jay Paul.  How exciting!  I jumped in line right away and got their autograph and a picture.  I asked how their season was and they said, "Crazy!"  Well I don't know if anyone watched it last week, but CRAZY is right.  Jay Paul jumped into the swamp and put a alligator in a head lock just so they could catch it.  WHAT!?!?!?

Two of our favorite people....Aunt Julie and Uncle Dave
We had to get a picture with Dora for the girls.
 My sweetie!

It just so happened to be Mardi Gras weekend too.  PERFECT!
My new dream boat.  Too bad you will never see this girl pulling up to Bo Woods to pick up Ryan from the dock, but a girl can dream, right!?  I asked Ryan how I looked behind the wheel and he said, "Broke!"  HAHAHAHAHAH

Happy Valentine's Day

Makenna was in charge of Valentine's snacks at her school, so we made heart apples.  They turned out really cute.

Makenna also took Valentine's for her classmates....I dig you! It had a shovel with animal crackers inside.  Thank You Pinterest!  This project turned into quite the fiasco because our dog, Cena ate the package and tore up 4 of the shovels.  I think everyone did this for a Valentine this year because I couldn't find any shovels anywhere.  Ebay...nope, Amazon...nope,  Finally I had to go to Walmart to buy the bucket with a shovel to complete our project.  Ryan said, "What happened to the card that cost $.10 that you would sign and pass out."  HAHAHA

Art Festival

Makenna had her Art Festival at school where we could go in and buy her paintings.

Playing In The Snow

Finally got a chance to update the blog....We didn't get much snow, but it was enough to make a trip into Rural King to buy a sled and play around for a little bit.  The girls had a lot of fun.
