secret garden
Tuesday was a busy day, since i went for a visit in two different gardens in Hampshire. Before the Hinton Ampner garden i saw a sign which lead to Jane Austen's house.... that house is one of the places i have wanted to have a visit for so long! Well, soon hopefully. The Hinton Ampner was build in a most gorgeous place, with a breathtaking view. There was lambs on a field too. This garden was a closest to a secret garden i have ever been to, with cottage garden planting. First i will post photos from Hinton Ampner and next time from Mottisfont Abbey.

deer path and jewelry work space
i feel really lucky that the nature is just a few steps away from the cottage where i live. i am person, who just can not be out of the woods for a long time, otherwise i feel really strange and unsettled. among the trees i am able to truly breath and be myself. the scent of ferns and moss, woodland soil and the sounds of the tree leaves on a wind, bird song, are something which i think are deeply rooted in my heart.
lately i have been dreaming of having own little cottage somewhere edge of the woods and a little woodland studio in a garden. This is the time when i need to start think about what happens next, when i do not work any longer in Nymans after autumn. and it is bit heart breaking to know that the woodland i have made my "home woods" now, will not be that after autumn. but hopefully there is a another place for me where i feel at home, like in here, nearby the nature.
today i had a little walk in the woods, which is full of ferns. i saw a deer there, i think it is the same deer i see almost every time i visit in the woods. i am able to see where animals have been walking among the bluebells.
i have never seen so many ferns in the woods, like on this one.
there is something very special about ferns, one of my favorite plants of the woods.
hawthorn tree are blooming, such a magical trees they are!
fern fronds, utterly beautiful. one of the loveliest wonders of nature.
i was able to observe this deer for quite a while.
maybe he thought that i was a tree, otherwise he would have escaped.
***********
little peek in to my work place... now when it is tidy!
little crocheted pouches for my necklaces.
an idea for this came while i was walking in the woods, and wondered would it be nice to carry a necklace with me, where i am able to gather little woodland memories or a little notebook and a pen. little buttons will be sewed on to them, so the treasures will be safe inside the pouches...
then some beads and clay acorns as well.
new supplies need to be ordered soon,
these little boxes look quite empty to me.
lovely beads, which glimmers in the sun like a faery dust.
woodland things for making jewelry orders look pretty.

bluebell woods
almost every evening i have wandered in the woods near my home and while walking under the old trees i have observed how the bluebells have been changed from leaves on to flowers. i found a "secret" bluebell place, where bluebells are covering the woodland floor with purple blue flowers. the evenings there have been magical, full of bird songs and spring light flickering through the tree branches and growing tree leaves. yesterday after work i walked in the secret bluebell woodland and was mesmerized how beautiful and magical the woodland looked... like part of an fairy tale. ferns fronds are growing with the anemones and bluebells. i want to be in the woods much as i can, and be with the bluebells.
for awhile i have planned to make a bluebell woodland jewelries and wanted to make a "deer in the bluebell woodland" necklace, but did not wanted to make one until i would actually see a deer among the bluebells. well, i did not needed to wait but just a few days, because yesterday i saw a deer in there. we both looked each other for quite awhile.

woodland books
today i walked in to the "deer woods" which is just a few steps away from the shared cottage where i live. i took my antique nature books with me, which i have collected lately from Brighton and took photos of the books in the woods. I could not believe my luck when i found these books and they cost so very little! they must have been a treasure for someone very long time ago. i love the scent of these books, the fact that they seem to be tarnished by time, the thick pages... i have every mean to read this books. 'Fifty-two nature rambles' book will be the first one to read.
the woodland is filled with daffodils...
a place of fairies and fairy tales.
