Hallie had her preschool graduation this past Thursday. It was pretty cute. I almost shed a tear or two realizing how grown up she is getting. I of course always assumed that she was a child prodigy and needed no help from me throughout the school year. Much to my chagrin when I asked her teacher what she needed help with this summer to get her ready for kindergarten she promptly replied that Hallie needed help with her writing. I was full on expecting her teacher to tell me how perfect she was and when she didn't I was a bit surprised. So my kids aren't the little geniuses that I thought they were - at least they have their looks going for them. No really, I think H is very smart and I'm so proud of everything that she learned this year.

Animal sounds
He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he sure is cute! Ok, I don't really think that my son is stupid for any of you who may think that I was being even somewhat serious. Of course I think he's brilliant.

Who knew?
Who knew that a washcloth could be so entertaining? I certainly had no idea, but somehow my kids knew. I put them in the bath last night and they thought that it was the funniest thing to take turns putting the washcloth on each other's head. They must have done that back and forth for close to an hour. It was so darn cute and I was loving every minute of them getting along since those moments are few and far between.
