Quick Trip

We received a call about a month ago to come to Massanutten and enjoy 3 days and 2 nights if we would come listen to their Timeshare Tour. Thankfully, I was able to get the 2 days before Spring Break off and so we left on Thursday morning for our mini-vacation. It was absolutely beautiful. Massanutten is known for being a ski resort, needless to say, the slopes were closed! However, we kept busy with go-karts, fishing, and the AWESOME indoor waterpark. It was a great little getaway!

As we were driving one night, we saw a group of 12-15 deer along the side of the road. We pulled over and this deer almost walked right up to the car.

This is serious business!

A Year Later

So Heath reminded me this morning that is has been almost a year since I last updated the blog. Believe me, I think about it at least once a week but never get around to sitting down and changing it. We have had plenty to blog about and I hate that I don't have those events posted. I am hoping to be better this year. We have a lot of life changing events and decisions to make in the upcoming months. Hopefully, this will be a good way to keep everyone updated!

Heath has been in Sentara Nursing School for the last 20 months- we only have 2 months left! He is doing his preceptorship at Obici in the Emergency Room, which he absolutely loves. He is hoping to continue working there after he graduates in May. We are excited that all of his hard work will be paying off soon!!! (Literally!! haha)

We have decided to return to the Infertility Specialist to look at some other avenues for adding to our family. We have our first consultation on Tuesday and would appreciate your prayers that they will be able to give us a new direction and some positive information. We are excited about this process, although we know how draining (emotionally and physically) it can be, having gone through it once before. We feel it is the right thing for us to do at this time and we have prepared ourselves for the roller coaster ride.

Please check back soon for updates- I have a feeling the next 4-6 months are going to be anything but "normal"!

Easter 2009 / Part 2

Wyatt searching for eggs at Uncle Adam's house.
Wyatt looking handsome (we can't call him "cute" anymore!)
Heath's cousins- Mike, Amy, Macie, and Carsen.

Heath's family (minus one brother and one brother-in-law). It was good to have everyone together for a family photo!

Opening Day!!!!!

Wyatt and his best buddy Brennan Gutt.

Wyatt finally had his opening day of baseball. We've been waiting patiently since it ended last summer. Our family loves baseball. Wyatt was lucky enough to end up on a team with his cousin Josh and three of his other best buddies so he is having a great time. Even though it completely messes up any schedule we might have we still love it when Wyatt is playing. With 2 or 3 games a week, and practices 1 or 2 times a week it really keeps us busy. Wyatt's first game was Saturday and his team won 15-5 so hopefully we'll have a good season.

SNOW!!!

We finally got some snow this year. Odd that it took until March. It's not much but the kids managed to do a little sledding and even made a snowman. It was only a heavy dusting but for around here it may as well have been a foot or two. Liza was upset though, because they didn't cancel school---it was only a 2 hour delay.Posted by Picasa

Happy Birthday (cont.)

I don't know what happened to this collage, and why it didn't show up on the blog. Hopefully this one makes it on. Just wanted everyone to see how great Heath is and how much fun we have together! Happy Birthday, again!!!
