Ari...

Hello Everyone!!! Can you believe we are now in November and the beautiful  October is all behind us now.  Thanksgiving is just around the corner and then  comes the big holiday of them all...Christmas!!!!:)  I am feeling a little pressure just thinking about it but at the same time I am super excited!  Looking forward to all the decorating, all the holiday projects to make and all the good food!!!
Today I will share with you this album I made of my grandson, Ari!!! these photos were all taken in  Spring! He is quite a poser :), he loves the camera and the outdoors.  A perfect combination for grandma, who is  camera ready!  I am trying not to be "in your face" kind of photo taker but sometimes it's hard to avoid. LOL!!! I just do it with my kids though. Anyhow back to my project, I used
 Clear Scraps Square Scallop Album to house these photos of Ari:
Other supplies used: Tom Holtz Distress cracle Pain,  Alcohol Ink, Big Shot (Sizzix) and many more..

Thanks for peeking once again into my simple life!!!
and Happy Halloween!!!

Masking Technique..

is one of my favorite way of altering printed paper, it's easy to do and it really looks great.  Today is  Trendy Tuesday over at  Quick Quotes blog, and it's my turn to share. I am really a fast and simple scrapper but this technique is so easy anyone can do it.  I am pretty sure if you are a scrapper you've come across this technique already. Anyhow I think you should check it  out here QQ  for a chance to win some awesome prizes .   Here are some cards I made using this technique! Also used the beautiful Petaloo Flowers to complete these cards!

thank you so much for being here and peeking into my simple life.....

A Star.....

is what I think this girl would be! Prepare to be amazed is the perfect phrase. This is my niece Audriana and she's only 10 years old,  I can't see her any other way  :) Well we will just wait and see, but no matter what her future holds she is already our shining star. :)  Anyhow, let me share this layout I made of her. And as you can see  she's very unique and so natural,  she loves the camera and  my camera  loves her! :) lucky me! I created this layout also for  Clear Scraps , using the XL Acrylic Deco shape.  One of the many reasons I love Clear Scraps is how it gives my project a polished look. I love how the glossy look of the paper under the acrylic.

Here are the supplies I used;
Basic Grey - Indie Bloom Paper Line
Prima Flowers & Ribbon
Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones
Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch
Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps

And here's a closer look!!!  These colors makes me happy!!
