At 20 and 21 months, Ainsley has become so much more of a "little girl". She understands anything we say or ask her to do, babbles all of the time, is in need of my full attention at all times, does not like to be dirty or have something on her hands, rather dainty, an ok eater (as long as it's snacks and she gets what she wants), loves to play with her new pots and pans for her kitchen, ride around on her wheely bug, is obsessed with Toy Story, is still a Mommy's girl (my guess is because she's with me all of the time), makes us laugh, will point to all her main body parts (except she always points to her wrist for "elbow"???), has to have her paci and blanky at all times (we are going to have to start working on this better), has started having an opinion on which shoes or hair bow she wants to wear, has said/can say around 50 words (depending on what mood she is in), uses about 15 of those words on a regular basis, and is as sweet and loving as can be, but don't be deceived because this little girl sure knows how to throw a good temper tantrum!
Words A has said/can say at 21 Months:
apple, baby, ball, balloon, banana, barn, Bella, boat, book, bow, bowl, bubble, bunny, bye-bye, car, cat, cheese, cracker, cup, Dadda, diaper, dog, duck, eat, egg, eyes, fish, flower, hello (in her own version), help, ketchup, knock-knock, light, Lili ("ee-ee"), Mama, Mimi, night-night, off, on, out, paci (the one thing she wants the most, yet rarely says it), Papa, Pawpaw, pig, please, Pop, princess (most recent and sounds like "in-cess"), shoes, socks, this, uh-oh, up, water ("wa-wa")
