New Posts Alert!

In case you don't keep scrolling.......

I have finally updated you with FOUR new posts!

Hopefully here soon I will get around to posting
about Christmas too.

But by then it might be Easter ;)

20 & 21 Months

At 20 and 21 months, Ainsley has become so much more of a "little girl". She understands anything we say or ask her to do, babbles all of the time, is in need of my full attention at all times, does not like to be dirty or have something on her hands, rather dainty, an ok eater (as long as it's snacks and she gets what she wants), loves to play with her new pots and pans for her kitchen, ride around on her wheely bug, is obsessed with Toy Story, is still a Mommy's girl (my guess is because she's with me all of the time), makes us laugh, will point to all her main body parts (except she always points to her wrist for "elbow"???), has to have her paci and blanky at all times (we are going to have to start working on this better), has started having an opinion on which shoes or hair bow she wants to wear, has said/can say around 50 words (depending on what mood she is in), uses about 15 of those words on a regular basis, and is as sweet and loving as can be, but don't be deceived because this little girl sure knows how to throw a good temper tantrum!

Words A has said/can say at 21 Months:
apple, baby, ball, balloon, banana, barn, Bella, boat, book, bow, bowl, bubble, bunny, bye-bye, car, cat, cheese, cracker, cup, Dadda, diaper, dog, duck, eat, egg, eyes, fish, flower, hello (in her own version), help, ketchup, knock-knock, light, Lili ("ee-ee"), Mama, Mimi, night-night, off, on, out, paci (the one thing she wants the most, yet rarely says it), Papa, Pawpaw,  pig, please, Pop, princess (most recent and sounds like "in-cess"), shoes, socks, this, uh-oh, up, water ("wa-wa")

Most often used:
ball, Bella (all of the time), bow, bowl, bubble, cracker, Dadda, dog, egg (because of a toy), help, Mama, on, out, please, this, uh-oh, water

"Ou-Wo"

She cracks me up. She was really acting like she was talking to someone :)

Thanksgiving Texas Style

We headed to Houston for Thanksgiving this year to visit Mimi and Pawpaw! We had such a nice time catching up with them and even making a trip to the mall to see Santa! We ended up at the same mall as last year, but the experience was totally different....

Here is our Thanksgiving in pictures.

We got lucky and our plane to TX was not full, so Ainsley got her own seat in between us!

Beautiful Thanksgiving place settings.....

Pawpaw and Mimi had a special place setting for Ainsley.
So cute!

Yummmm!

Playing cards and a little someone felt like she needed to be included :)

We went to this house that had the MOST AMAZING Christmas lights decor EVER! Pictures don't even do this justice. You enter the gates and walk around their land through all of it. They even had an area set up for Santa visits, but he was off duty at the time we were there.

Waiting to see Santa!

That sweet smile didn't last long.....

Yes, I felt like a HORRIBLE mommy and this mental image was the last thing I thought about before I went to sleep that night. I'm still not sure if it was worth it, but maybe 10 years from now I'll be glad I put her through this! (I didn't blame her. He was kinda creepy looking if you ask me. Where's the coat and hat???)

Halloween

If you couldn't tell I was behind on my posts, can you now? Ainsley was a puppy dog for Halloween. We had been in Memphis that weekend for my 10 year high school reunion. So we made a quick stop by my parents church when we got back home to go to their Trunk or Treat. The one at our church had been earlier that day and we weren't able to make it. We were so worn out from the weekend anyways that we mainly went so Ainsley would have a chance to show how cute of a puppy she could be and we didn't want to miss doing this with her. Overall, she did well, but it was already so dark outside and SUPER crowded that we didn't stay for very long. I'm sure next Halloween will be way more fun and exciting for her (and us)!

Here is a peek of our lil pup!

Isn't this the cutest puppy you've ever seen???

19 Months

I'm not even going to try to attempt and write down exactly all that Ainsley was doing at 19 months. It's not because I'm lazy, it's because that seems like forever ago and I don't remember! Sad, I know. Here's our little stinker at 19 months old (during November).

*Some of the pics are blurry because they were taken on my phone. Sorry :)
