Florida

Well, he did it! My brother, Nick, graduated from law school. To celebrate, our whole family went to Florida to attend his graduation which was on May 15th, and help them pack up a bit before they made the drive back to Zion. It was great to see where they have been living. We had some fabulous weather... not too hot, not too cold... just right! Spent lots of time on the beach.

Bennett ate his fair share of sand while I was trying to sunbathe I must confess, beach trips are a lot more fun when you don't have little kids to worry about. It was fun enough and we had lots of helpers to watch the kids while we took a dip.

Bennett spent a total of 1 minute in the water. He wasn't a fan, which surprised me cause it was warm and he loves baths. Lincoln was scared, but would let you take him in, which was kinda fun. His overprotective mother made him wear the blue number.

Laura is looking more and more pregnant. She's got you beat, Bobby. (Good thing, huh?)

Bobby insisted we bring the pink tube.

This was a cute pic, minus the upper-inners, so I drew a skirt on myself.

The beach is always more fun with Uncle Bobby than without.

J-J loves Ben-Ben.

Too much fun at the beach.

The parents-to-be enjoying dinner at the Turtle Club.

Matt loves "spendy" restaurants!

The parentals.

So glad to be done!! Both of them.

The Rogers family sans-Sadie (Megan's life-long friends)

Sisters-in-law.

Doyle (Megan's dad) and Megan's Grandma Clayburn.

Sandra and Cassie (sp?) (Megan's aunt and niece)

The Adsero Clan. Bennett fell asleep like 5 seconds after this was taken.

Lincoln loves Uncle "Ni"

Nothing beats breakfast by the pool.

Bapa jumpin' in for a cool-down post run. He's gettin' Lincoln's "piggers". Not sure where Lincoln's pants are... he seems to be missing them quite often.

This is the robe my mom has worn my entire life. I remember her wearing this while eating Wheaties every morning as she corrected me during my early-morning piano practicing sessions. The robe still looks great, and so does she.

Never a dull moment with Bobby around.

Laura and Lincoln just got a big wave in the face. Lincoln didn't like that.

Grandma comforting Lincoln after the incident

Having fun!

Nick took us near the Everglades. We pulled off to see this boardwalk trail they had there. We weren't sure what we'd see, maybe the typical scenes you'd think of when you think "Everglades, but we saw some gators instead!. Four to be exact.... and a few snakes.... and a hundred million catrillion mosquitoes.

Do you see 'em in the water? The following is a close-up.

Everyone was too impatient to wait for me to get an in-focus group shot, cause we were all getting eaten alive. Julia is the best bug-repellent. They get her instead of you. See below.

Another one.

Graduation Day.

That night we tried for some family pics on the beach. This was the best we could do.

Laura's maternity photo turned out quite well. Hearts!!

President and Sister Mecham getting used to the idea of being on a beach for 3 years.

Oooo, a puddle!!!

Maybe I'll sit in it.

Pretty, huh?

BUBBLES!!!

I think he gets this face from Laura. She always used to do this while watching people kiss on TV.

Chasing Grandma with the sea foam and sand.

The men.

What else can I throw in the water?

We celebrated President Mecham's birthday on the 16th with an Oreo ice cream cake.

This is what happens when you don't use a swim diaper.

We rented this ol' Jalopy. Got plenty of stares.

Ben-Ben loved riding shot-gun.

Post-graduation festivities, the Adseros headed to Disney World for two days. It was actually really fun, and we made it to everything we had hoped to except the Peter Pan ride. Next time, I guess. We went to Animal Kingdom on Day 1, then to Magic Kingdom that evening. Day 2 we went to Epcot, and then to Magic Kingdom again that afternoon.

This is how much Lincoln loved meeting Mickey.

Lincoln loved the safari ride. It rocked Bennett to sleep.

Mt. Everest in "Asia"

The Tiger Ruins

Magic Kingdom Mayhem

I love this place!!

Morocco in Epcot. Ate some delicious food in Morocco and too many delightful French pastries.

A view of the ball from Japan. Every time Lincoln saw the ball he'd say, "Ball, ball.... kick it, kick it!!"

Italy

Epcot was the best place for the kids to nap. Hooray! Couldn't have planned it better.

Germany.

China. The Temple of Heaven reproduction was pretty good don't you think? See the real deal below.

When we were walking through Norway, I spotted this sign. Matt's mom's name is Laila, but I never knew she was the essence of Norway. But it does make sense since she's a full-blooded Norwegian.

Ben-Ben waiting every so patiently while Lincoln and dad rode on the cars.

Lincoln thought the Tea Cups were pretty good.

But... It's a Small World took the cake. He cried after having to get off the first time we went. Then we went again, and again, and again. Every time we got close to the entrance of the ride, he'd say, "Boat, boat... again, again". You have to watch the video in the dark so you can see Lincoln's face.
