Adsero-Collard Christmas in Houston

To kick off the holiday season, Lincoln and Bennett's school put on a Christmas program that was really cute.

You've heard of socks with sandals. How about pajamas with sandals?

All my wildest Christmas dreams came true as Laura, Robert and girls came for Christmas. They got here Christmas Eve, and put them straight to work. Matt envisioned having a swing set pop up over night for the boys on Christmas morning. Robert was a good sport and they worked like busy elves until 3 AM while Laura and I cleaned up Christmas Eve dinner and wrapped all the presents. We just couldn't take it anymore. Not a good start to the togetherness, because it took us 3 days or maybe more to recover from the festivities. I must say, Christmas is much more magical when your parents put on the production instead of you. It was wonderful nonetheless. The cousins were so cute together. Minnie and Bennett, and Eldon and Louisa became fast friends. Lincoln sure likes playing with Minnie too. He tells me everyday that he wishes he had a sister and not brothers. Minnie is as good as it gets around here. It was nice to have a few more females in the mix than usual.

Cousins!! (Note: They have swim suits on)

Fun Uncle Robert ready to race.

First order of business for Minnie, as soon as they got here from the airport was to swim in the pool. It wasn't exactly a hot day, but the kids didn't care. I couldn't decide which pic of Minnie was the best, so I posted them all.

Christmas Eve Dinner. Still not sure I love that massive chandelier.

Eldon could hardly comprehend that someone "smaller" than he is exists. He was loving it. I said "smaller", because Louisa is a year younger, but I think only a couple of pounds lighter. She is a 100th percentile baby.

Christmas Eve Dessert by Chef Matt

The presents we wrapped all night.

Christmas morn before presents.

First Christmas for Lou Lou

Laura made the cutest capes for the boys with the letter of their names on them, and Robert made a super hero book starring them to go along with it. Too cute!!!

"Envy of all mothers"... obviously this book is fiction.

Uncle Cool = the author of course.

Not sure why Laura didn't put a swim suit on Minnie.

L-R: Eldon and Louisa in the sand box, Laura and Charlotte talking while watching the babies, Robert chasing Lincoln and Bennett, Matt throwing the ball to Nick, Julia watching Megan catch Minnie on the slide, President Mecham randomly giving Sister Mecham flowers... again fiction, especially Sister Mecham's reaction.

Robert knows the Mecham Family well. Ice cream is a must at any celebration.

The boys loved it, and obviously so did I. So thoughtful!!!

I look like I've been hit by a bus.Oh well, Merry Christmas!

Naked Christmas.

Super Matt and Super Robert spent all Christmas Day trying to finish this thing.

So Laura and I took the kids to the park. Yes... Bennett is still in the cute PJs Nick and Megan sent.

We waited FOREVER to get a table at Pappasitos the day after Christmas. Ug!!!!! Lincoln and Minnie found a way to entertain themselves.

Busy, Busy.

Can't get over Minnie's hair in this one. Everyone in PJs.

Went to Old Town Spring

Again, couldn't choose:

Snooze fest.

Minnie's face = "Whatever."

Best curly head buds.

We went to the aquarium downtown.

It was lovely. Wish more than anything that we lived close by our cousins!!!
