Ollie Baby is One!!

Oliver turned 1 yesterday so we celebrated by going to George Ranch Historical Center. We tried to go to Brazos Bend State Park to see the alligators, but it was closed due to flooding so George Ranch was a good option 2.

Oliver is a little cutie. He gives great snuggles, loves to make his brothers laugh. He stands on his own, says "uh-oh", squawks to get his way, roots through all our drawers and cupboards, eats, but has yet to swallow Legos, eats and swallows crayons, loves to put his face on anything soft, likes to lounge on soft carpet, is obsessed with climbing our stairs, doesn't care for baby food, hyperventilates in excitement when he sees his bottle, loves his pacifier and blanky, he uses his legs to spin in an entire circle in a sitting position, adds lots of love and life to our home. The boys have just loved watching him grow, and rejoice with us over his new milestones. I fear I haven't taken enough pictures and have perhaps left him in his high chair too long, too often, but he's still alive, so I've done something right! So glad he is a part of our family!

Uncle Bob showing us his little pet turtle

Love the Spanish Moss hanging from the trees.

Live Oaks are so amazing!

We did spot a couple gators.

Oliver didn't love the grass...

But he warmed up!

Sugar rush!

I think he liked it!

Oliver happened to be wearing the same jammies that Bennett wore in a photo when he was the same age, so I tried to recreate it. Perhaps the don't look as similar as I think they do!
