At my house it’s tradition to have Orange Cinnamon Rolls on Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Eve. This year I made them, Sean & Jonathan ate them, and then asked “what else is for breakfast”!  I made some breakfast Burritos and a little Egg Nog & I was back in business.

We had our traditional boxed Ginger Bread House from Costco, but after the Halloween House I really didn’t want to try and do this again.  So we waited all the way until Christmas Eve morning & J wanted me NO where near it!!  I just can’t imagine why

While J was busy with his house, I was busy baking last minute cookies, fools toffee, & Ice Cream Pumpkin Pies.

Finally we arrived at my friend RoseMarie’s House for Christmas Eve Festivities & Prime Rib Dinner.  Boy was it a good time & the food of course was Delicious!!  Along with the prime rib, we had salmon, leak potatoes, sweet potatoes, lots of greens, mac n cheese, tamales, pineapple punch & so much more!

J & RoseMarie’s girls went door to door in the neighborhood singing Christmas Carols! Be Still my Heart, it was Heart Warming!!

The kids played the piano, danced, we made puzzles, played Taboo, and so enjoyed our evening!

RoseMarie’s Dad & Brother flew in from Houston Texas, her sister Desiree & husband Matt came down from Bellevue, & we of course live a few minutes away.  A Great Eve to Christmas!

We didn’t get home until after Midnight, so Mom needed to get a certain someone in bed quickly so that Santa could come deliver gifts!

I couldn’t believe that J didn’t wake up until 8 am, but once he arose, he wasted No time at all to get to the goods.

Then off to the land of Legos….

A Star Wars & Harry Potter Lego Christmas it was.

Seannie is a Star Wars Geek, I didn’t want him to feel left out, so I couldn’t resist these Star Wars Tightie Whities, or Blackies…………………..And Because I just know you all want to know….YES, he did wear them!!!  But, only for a few hours & then he revealed he just couldn’t wear them anymore!!

Can you ever really be fully prepared for a Baby?!  I don’t know!  But what I do know is that I’m a Big Procrastinator!!  I have been scurrying around trying to prepare for this baby this past month & just when I think I’m close to having what I need, I realize I have added yet another thing to the list of……

Needs!

they are wants!

What I do know is this, its certainly fun to receive goodies from friends and family!!!

Sean has the sweetest friend that lives in TX.  They met while he was stationed in Alaska, her husband too was stationed there & she is the kind of gal you wished lived next door.  Any how, Elissa sent us a Super Adorable High Chair!  It’s still in the box, but I promise to have it assembled before she starts gnawing on bones.  Sean went out and purchased that infant car seat all on his own & it’s even Pink if you can believe it!

This box in No Way does this Nifty Stroller justice!!  Have you heard of the Bob Revolution Running Stroller????  If you’re a runner & have a kiddo, it’s a must, regardless of the price & I gifted it to MYSELF!!  Actually, my Mom sent me some Christmas Cash & I used it towards this Magnificent fine piece of Machinery!

Here is little Ms. Elizabeth’s Crib & bedding.  I ordered the set of furniture from Costco, up close it’s an “Antique” White finish & Lady Bug Bedding.

Sean was afraid of the Color Pink, so we compromised on a Green that was in the bedding. 

And, if you look closely on this dresser, it was delivered damaged underneath the 1st set of drawers.  I called Costco and they said it would take another 6 weeks to get a new set.  Well, that didn’t work so instead they credited me back a few dollars.  I’m HOPING that my husband will repair it soon, it Annoys me.  Along with everything else on the face of the earth.  Once again, I’m a rather Crabby Pregnant Person!

Our friend Lauren, another wonderful Lady from TX sent us that Glow Worm, along with a Miracle Blanket, & other needed accouterments!!  Lauren really was once my neighbor, & I miss her Terribly!!!

Look at this, 11 pairs of shoes already and the Chick is not even born!!  Thank you Dear Loraine, I can’t imagine that you have already given her a shoe Fetish!!!  Come to think of it, Loraine is from TX TOO!!  That just dawned on me!!  I work with Loraine’s hubby.  I even talked them into moving near me at one time, but they moved quickly after that   Loraine, has gifted our baby so many wonderful goodies!!!!

Her closet is filled with SO many cute outfits from SO many family & friends!!!  Thank you to all of you!!

I showed Sean & Jonathan yesterday, what is what, and what goes where.  Let’s just say neither new the difference between a pair of socks & hand mittens^!

Literally, every drawer is packed to the rim.  The girl is set til 1!!!

One thing I know for sure!!!  This Guy does not like to be woken up at 5:30 am to his Mom snapping photos!!!  Jonathan is going to be the best Big Brother & I was just trying to prepare him for the screaming that may occur at odd hours!!

Sean got some Great News this week.  In May he will be taking Company Command of an Infantry Company!  He will be spending most of his summer training in the Land Down Under……

Congratulations Seannie!  We will miss you while your in Australia, but so Happy for you!!!!

I’m not sure what this guy’s excuse is!!!????

He can’t get away with anything!  I made pumpkin spice cupcakes for one of the parties we went to yesterday & while they were still Piping HOT out of the oven, I come down to see my husband as is over the Sink!!!

I would like to know what his excuse is?  I think he is just a Piggy!!

Do you see the icing falling?  This is his look of “Oh Crap” the wife has caught me!!!

Sean asked me the most comical question the night before last.  He asked me “So, how long after you have the baby before you go back to Normal”???

Did he mean Physically or Emotionally??  Both!!

I said NEVER!!!!

I had a late night Chocolate Cake Craving & I was so excited to sink my teeth into it that as I took the cake out of the oven it flew out of my hands across the counter and partially out of the Spring Foam Pan!!!

And since I don’t give a rats bat, I ate the remaining cake right out of the pan!!
