Thanksgiving

We traveled down to Richfield for Thanksgiving this year. It was good spending time with Adam's grandparents and letting our kids get to know their GREAT grandparents.  They hadn't even met Ella yet so it was a good time to reunite. I even got to do the jitterbug with Adam's grandpa. The man still has moves!

Noah striking a pose.Vogue. He wanted me to take this picture. Hilarious.
(The kids had a fun time exploring great grandpas property and barn and pulling and eating his carrots.)

The Whole Fam Damily

 We haven't had family pictures done since the October before Kyle was born.
Our family has changed just a little since then.
Kyle was grandchild #12 and now we are getting ready to have Dawn's #26 PLUS Robert's 4 children. (His oldest daughter actually isn't in this picture.)
{Thanks for taking the pic, Morgan!}

Indoor Soccer

The boys just completed their indoor soccer season. I am proud to report that there was no crying from Kyle this time. ;)  And Noah finally got to play this time.  They enjoyed it but didn't seem to LOVE it.  They played twice a week plus Kyle had one practice.  I'm glad its done but glad for the experience.

Noah reminds me so much of Adam in this picture.

Kyle's team is missing probably 4 kids and that's not even his coach. Lame.
But I love this picture of Kyle.

Silly Meggie

After getting out of the bath and letting her hair dry without a combing, Megan looked in the mirror and said,
"I look like Alex."
I got a good laugh.

 What do you think?

What is it about Sepia...

{Old draft May 2008}

...or black and white for that matter? I think I am permanently going to switch my camera to take pics in either of these color modes. Normal pictures look more creative. Baby boys look impossibly more precious. Acne breakouts are hidden, wrinkles look less...wrinkley (Okay so maybe these are the real reasons but still! :) )

{Oh my lands, I can hardly stand how sweet my boys are/were. Look at Noah's cheeks!}

Pictures with Cousin Momo

 I am just getting around to doing a lot of Ella blogging. Its what happens when you have FOUR children and one of them is newborn...
A few days after Ella was born my niece, Morgan, came over to take some pictures of my baby girl and get some picture taking practice.  She got some beautiful shots.  It breaks my heart to see how much Ella has already grown in the last 2 1/2 months. But I'm grateful to have these pictures to remember my tiny baby girl by. Thanks, Momo!

 In love...

This Is Halloween, This Is Halloween...

What a beautiful and fun day we had for our Halloween celebration.

Our Halloween didn't start off with Halloween day.  We had a full week of parties and trunk-or-treating prior to October 1st.  Let me just say, the kids will NOT be trunk or treating next year. The candy getting has gotten ridiculous.  We filled a huge bowl with candy the kids got and handed it out Halloween night. Too, too much of the stuff.

Our Halloween started out with Noah and Kyle's parade at school.

Spooky, dinner with mummy dogs and creepy, crawly potion drinks.

 Princess, Strawberry, Indiana Jones, Vampire

Me and my juicy sweet strawberry baby.
Note the gorgeous weather. I think the the temp topped out at 76 degrees. A record breaker!  It made for some mighty pleasant trick-or-treating.

No coats for these trick-or-treaters!
The kids had fun going house to house with their friends. Kyle even took off with his friends and I thought, are we really THERE.  My boy doesn't need me anymore. boo-hoo. Unfortunately, with all the running he ended up biffing it and ripping a big hole in his new pants and his skin.

 These two were so cute trick or treating together.

After an hour or so of trick-or-treating, we headed over to a friends house to feast on chili and hot chocolate.
Great night!
