The Beach
The hotel we stayed at was on Cornado Island at the naval base. The room was perfect for our whole family even with the surprise addition of Alex. The girls were so excited to be there. The best part of the whole vacation was just a walk out the door...the beach. The girls fell in love at first sight. I couldn't believe how much savannah love the water. We couldn't keep her out of it. Every chance we got we played at the beach. We watched the sun rise...then the sun set...we collected sea shells...we built sand castles...played in the water...laughed and enjoyed each day. The best part of it all was at times we were all there enjoying it as a family. It will be memories that will last a life time. I am so grateful that we decided to go there and I know that the girls have fallen in love with a place that I love.

Sea World
The first stop on our family trip...besides the beach...was sea world. The girls were so excited to be there. Savannah could still remember going to Sea World in Texas and she was so excited to be able to share something she loved with her little sister. Alex and Emily were off riding rides and surprisingly not fighting with each other. We watch the dolphin show...road rides...watch more shows...saw some amazing animals and ended the night with Shamu.
It was a great day until my phone died. Savannah and I separated from the group to use the restroom and somehow we got lost going around the park. I wasn't able to call Eric to find out where to meet him and I was getting worried. With a little help of an employee I was able to find the exit. Eric was waiting and watching for me. The the worst part of the night came when we went to find the ca...I had the location of the car on my phone...and I had no power to turn it on. After wandering around the parking lot...and people getting really angry. Eric finally listened to me on where I thought the van was and we were able to get home.
It was a fun day exhausting but very fun. Savannah even got her shamu snow globe she wanted so badly.
