More update
Brad actually had a better day today. He was able to get into his regular chair, and went without the heavy medications most of the day. We can only attribute this to God, as yesterday was a very scary and uncertain day, and physically, he looked much better today. Emotionally he is struggling, and we continue to pray for God's healing power and for Brad to stay strong and willing to fight. Thank you all for continued prayer!

Wims Update
We are asking for everyone to intensify the prayers for the Wims'. Brad started this am with a very difficult time breathing that rapidly got worse. They called the Hospice nurse out, who was able to order some medications to ease his breathing, as well as the panic-feelings that he gets from being so short of breath. They help for a while. We still fully believe and know that God can heal him, and are still begging him to do so. We pray for an easing of his breathing, and God's peace. Brad is very courageous, continuing with the sense of humor we all know him for, as he struggles through this difficult time. Please continue to pray for Brad, Jenny, his parents, and the rest of his extended family. Thank you!

Chick-fil-A Night
The Chick-Fil-A nearby has some special events weekly for kiddos, and tonight was "Princess Night' with Cinderella. The Chick-Fil-A cow was there, too, as you can see. Cinderella left, er, much to be desired. She walked in to the restaurant, and, first of all, didn't really look like Cinderella, then, was busy texting on her cell phone! Callie quickly came to the conclusion that she "wasn't the real Cinderella since Cinderella does not use a cell phone or wear her hair down"! Zeke and Jack were more interested in the cow. Zeke ended up spending the night with us, and we all piled in my bed for bedtime stories before nighty-night!

Mother/Daugther Night
Callie and I had a very special evening a few nights ago. I took her to see the Nutcracker, put on by a local ballet organization--very well done; I was really impressed with their talent and the costumes. We got a close-up seat, and Callie loved it! Afterwards, the cast came out for pictures and autographs. We had a really great time--thanks to Grammy and Papa for entertaining Jack while we were out!

Child Dialogue
Callie: "Daddy, if lightening hit Jesus, would he burn up?"
Daddy: "Um, I don't think so"
Callie: "ok"!
Daddy: "Um, I don't think so"
Callie: "ok"!

Callie Has An Announcement!!!
Callie is precious in this video--turn it up so you know our exciting news!! Watch Jack's pitiful reaction!
The News
Thanksgiving--Hanna's

My Mother-in-law hosted Thanksgiving for the Hanna's this year, and it turned out great! We had awesome food, great company, and lots of fun and games. Bryan even had the younger kiddos out playing football on the lawn, just like the "olden days"! We won't go into the A&M game of course--no one is surprised about that outcome!!
Visit with Santa
While we were in Sulphur Springs, we went to a little "Christmas in the Park" festival, and Santa was there. Callie was completely comfortable, as you can tell; Jack was, well, not so thrilled! I was hoping this year would be the year of no crying with Santa, since he has seemed excited about him, but, it's not to be! The only way he'd get close to that scary man in the white beard is if Mommy stays really close!

Thanksgiving--Aven's

We got to spend some time with my parents and family over the weekend after Thanksgiving. Callie and Jack love their new baby cousin Trenton, and he seems thrilled with them, too! Callie loves to see her older cousins (actually 2nd cousins) Katelyn and Tiffany--they were the tiny flower girls in my wedding, now are practically grown up! We got to ride around in Grandpa's new truck and look at the new baby calves--a little farm experience. All in all, good visit home!Reveille
I'm so behind on blogging! This is out of order, but my digital camera is on the fritz, so I am sometimes using a 35 mm camera, having to get the pics on disc, then onto the computer! The kids got to visit with Reveille thanks to our awesome friend Bari Moore, who is a freshman this year at A&M. It was really neat to be able to play with Rev and get photos! For you non-aggies, it just doesn't happen a lot that we actually get close to our guarded mascot, so stop snickering at my excitement!Sunday, November 23, 2008
Jack is 3
Well, Jack's actual birthday is today. My little boy is already 3!! So hard to believe. Poor thing, he is sick, (along with sister), and ran fever most of the afternoon. He had 102 degrees when he woke from his nap, but some motrin soon took care of that, as you can tell in the pictures! He got the long-asked for bike, Cars bike that is, and spent lots of time riding around in and out of the house. Now he doesn't have to ride Callie's pink girly bike anymore!!

Cousin Gathering
Zeke and Kaelyn came over the other night to play (and brought their Nonnie and Grandad). Although I love to see them together, it is making me sad to see how big they are growing, so quickly. Kaelyn and Callie were doing walkie-talkies, but Kaelyn thinks it's an actual phone, and didn't want Callie treating it anything but that. After the bath (which is almost an insane venture with all 4 in the tub!), they settled down for some movie time. Cute kids!
