Easter 2009

We had a great time at the Olejniczak's house for Easter. Although the weather did not allow for an outdoor egg hunt, we had a fun with great company and great food. I didn't get any pictures of the family because I'm really bad at remembering to take pictures, but I did get a few of the princess. It's her blog anyway.

I'm 2 and I know better than to jump on the couch....

Jake's (neighbor) birthday party. They all wore pirate bandanas and went on a treasure hunt. It was so much fun! (Mariana is the little one on the left)

Going green....filling gas tank with leaves, dirt and rocks. Maybe someday sweetie!

Hughes Reunion 2009

Art and Vicki put together a great weekend for all their kids and grandkids. They have this awesome back yard that proved to be hours of fun. We are so thankful that Charles and Janice and family were able to make it down to Bryan for a Hughes Reunion. It's been a long time since we all got together, and the first time for the newly added members. It was a lot of fun, but I would expect nothing less from this crew.

We had a little birthday party for Mikaelie and Haley. They are officially in the double digits now (10) and all the kids (Haley, Mikaelie, McKinnley, Ty, Tucker, Mariana) enjoyed decorating the cupcakes.

Just gearing up for the family pictures, I have to make sure I can cry on que....

The gator was very popular. Here we have McKinnley and Mariana in their "Elect Art Hughes" shirts. I'm pretty sure they are the reason he won the City Counsil election.

Haley was a trooper by driving Tucker, Mariana, and McKinnley around the yard.

McKinnley was also a very good driver!

Mariana and I had our picture taken for Nona's birthday. It was tough because Mariana thought the camera was going to do her harm, but we made it out of there with some keepers. I can't believe how old she looks and looking more like her Daddy every day.

December 2008

December was a fun month for us. We did Christmas outings to look at lights and see family. We also had Christmas (Mariana had a couple) and turned 2 years old (one of us did). I can't believe it's been 2 yrs already, but am looking for to the years to come. Mariana is a little motor mouth now and much more effective at communicating.

Leaving for Nona and Grandpa's house to celebrate Great Grandma Hughes' 90th birthday and to go see Santa's Wonderland.....

I loved seeing my great grandmother because she loves me so much and gives me LOTS of candy!!! .....

Not big on touching unknown animals, but mommy appears to be having a little too much fun....

Christmas morning was so much fun. It took awhile to get used to everyone looking at me and waiting for me to open my presents, but I got the hang of it with a little help.
