Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day! We had a family day of shopping and eating that culminated in a batch of brownies. We also celebrated Valentine's Day at church Sunday. Here is Aidan helping open his daddy's gift.

We went to the zoo last weekend. We did not ride the train or carousel, but Aidan did get to see all kinds of animals, including giraffes, sea otters, and a white lion. We bought him a cute union suit that says "Night Owl" from the gift shop at the zoo. It was a beautiful day, and we had a lot of fun!

Christmas

Aidan had a great Christmas! We visited with extended family. Our friend Emilie also came to visit. Santa was very good to Aidan. Aidan received lots of new toys and books.

Aidan went to see Santa Claus this weekend! He did not cry, but he wasn't really sure what was happening either.

Half Birthday

Aidan turned 6 months old the other day. He is sooo big now! He weighs 19 pounds already!!! My shoulders stay sore now from carrying his infant carrier--he will be able to sit on a hip soon. He does not like to be strapped in a sling, but he loves his stroller. He has just outgrown his bouncy seat and using his carrier as a chair. He has graduated to high chairs and exersaucers. I'll post some pics of him sitting soon. I was sad when he outgrew his first things (bassinet and newborn clothes) but it is exciting to see each new step/phase now.

We had a good Thanksgiving. Aidan ate his baby turkey, peas, and sweet potatoes. We visited with both sets of grandparents. Sorry, we didn't really take many pictures. We will get lots of them at Christmas! We need to go see Santa soon. Aidan is sitting up well now, so he can sit and tell Santa what he wants for Christmas. (OK, he's not really talking yet.)
