CONGRATULATIONS to all those who got seleced into the club!
i think we received about 97 applicants this year, so well done to all. :)
The orientation was a success, all thanks to junyang, sandra, aaron and all of the j2s! WELL DONE, PEOPLE! The j1s really enjoyed the games and foodhunt, and some even commented that it was better than Orientation 2010.
The next training for all J1s will most probably be on the 24th feb, looking forward to meet all of you!
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR in advance and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! :D
I have uploaded all the pictures of those activities we have done last year-2009, under the pictures section. I took them from some of your photo albums in facebook heh.
I bet we all, as sports clubbers, have enjoyed 2009. I could still vividly recall the strict INTERVIEWS and orientation programmes we all went through. And the 20 of us were all selected and we were brought together to form the 3rd batch of sports clubbers!
Starting off with the ENVIROOLYMPICS CYCLETHONwhich was a fantastic experience for many of us, followed by the make-the-whole-school-notice-us BOSSABALL!We all had fun, didn't we?
How could we forget our TCHOUKBALL SESSIONS! We trained hard, and played hard. Our sweat and tears were all worthwhile when our girls and guys team emergered as 1st and 3rd respectively in the A divisions! THANKYOU TO MISS HU, MISS YEO AND COACH REZAL for guiding us through this period.
And we bade FAREWELL to our dear J2s. :(
The most memorable activity in the year was DRAGON BOATING!We paddled hard, tried being the steersman(dunno if it's spelt this way) and commander. PADDLES UP...EASY...
And we ended off with our year end CHALET at downtown!
To winee and valerie, your will always be welcomed back to our sports club activities!
Hope 2009 was a memorable year for all of us. Let's work hard together to make 2010 even more awesome and fabulous! And we will all be proud to announce to everyone that we are from AJC SPORTS CLUB!
Firstly, good luck to all the JC2s for your upcoming 'A' Levels. JIAYOUS!!! (:
Secondly, hope everyone had enjoyed the DRAGONBOATING sessions!!! Although it was only for 4 sessions, bet everyone had fun splashing water at each other and learning more about DB. Here are some pictures i took from facebook.
Anyway, hope your had also enjoyed the floorball session that day! Meanwhile, study hard for promos!!!! MUG HARD AND LET'S PROMOTE TGT!!!!
rather recently, in all our events, there have been many unfortunate cases of injuries, be it for cycling or for tchoukball training or food poisoning after eating or bossa ball. do take care people! we have exams and competitions coming up and the last thing we really want is a broken wrist or a fratcured leg.
to avoid this, do tell us if the activities we are doing are too tough and such. we will definitely stop for u for safety is our utmost policy!
oh and to xin yun who recently sprained her anle rather badly during training,
