Royal Fireworks

We went up to Spokane for the Royal Fireworks concert in Riverfront Park. We have been going since Andy and I were just dating and now our kids get to enjoy it. We got up to Spokane around lunchtime, and ate lunch with Andy's parents at Cyrus O'Leary's. And yes we did share deep fried icecream. The best dessert in the world. After lunch we met up with Corey and Jeffrey long enough to say hi, go down the slide, and ride the carosel in Riverfront park.

After Corey and Jeffrey left we went on the carousel a second time. Noah LOVED the carousel this year. Last year he cried and tried to climb off during the entire ride. He is so grown up! He still talks about the horses, when he sees a picture of them. After our carousel ride, we thought it would be fun to take a train ride around the park. While we waited for the train at the "train station" we watched the bumblebees in the snap dragons.

Waiting for our tour of the park, in our train car.

Walking through the park after our train ride. We went to rest and cool off in the AC, in Tom and Denise's hotel room before the concert.

As always the music and firework show was awesome. My pictures do not come close to the awesomeness.

We spent another fun day in Spokane at the park. I think next year, if I am scheduled to work (like I was this year), I will take another vacation day!

Ava rolls

Ava rolled over twice this morning from her tummy to her back. Later in the day, each time I placed her on her tummy she just got mad. There is always tomorrow to see if she will do it again.

3 months old

Ava is 3 months old today. She weighs 11 lbs. 6 oz and is 23 inches long. We recently found out her repeat sweat chloride was normal. Hallelujah!! She is beginning to smile and coo more. At times when she is frustrated she has angry squeals. She isn't too crazy about tummy time yet, but is getting better at it. She has almost total control of her head. Only occasionally do we get bonked in the face with her head now. Ava loves to watch Noah, and he is starting to show more interest in her! She only wakes up once during the night now usually between 4a and 5a. She is such a good baby!

Playing at the Park

We played at Ghormley Park today. Noah found a little girl to play with that was 3 years old also. They were so cute. And today marks the very first ride Ava has had in the lower seat of the stroller. She did great! Once we started walking, she fell asleep. I hope she does that everytime!

Happy Anniversary Baby, I got you on my Mind!

Today Andy and I celebrated our 6th wedding Anniversary. We started the day out by picking up our bountiful basket, eating a delicious breakfast (sausage, eggs, and potatoes), then we headed out to Troy Days to hear the "Sweet Adelines" sing. We went home for lunch and naps, went to walmart and the Emerald, dropped Noah off at home (with my mom), enjoyed frozen yogurt at JAMMS, then had a "Just Dance" party at Crystals house with Keith, Laura, Crystal and us. We didn't do much as a couple, but we are waiting for Harry Potter to come out so we can have our "real date." We had a great day!!
