This weekend was awesome. Adam had Friday off so we headed up to Kansas City! While there we got to visit Great Grandpa Brooks and Great aunt Kathy. We went out to eat then we played at Great Grandpa's house. Naomi was quite the show off. She sure has Great Grandpa wrapped around her little finger. We had a wonderful visit! We then Descended upon the Moody's Their little boys are quite adorable. The oldest is ALL boy! They sure have their hands full. We all had a great time we also became "those parents" that kept their kids out too late. We decided to eat out and it took a while. but every one did quite well. Naomi even had some potatoes. She seemed to like it! This was good considering she has decided she did not want to eat the "solid"food. And now we are back and looking forward to the week ahead. Busy busy busy!

Well This weekend will be quite eventful. We are planning on heading up to KC. It ought to be a good time. We will visit Great Grandpa Brooks and the Moody's. I was hoping to visit more people but that may have to wait seeing as there is a Boyd family gathering on Saturday and a corn maze on Saturday. I think we may have one pooped little girl by Saturday night. so we are going to play things by ear. I hope to post some pictured soon!

I cannot believe Naomi is 6 months already! Wow!

Well I ended up not going to Galveston for disaster relief. It was both good and bad. I really enjoy doing relief. I also wanted the opportunity to see a few people. But they decided they did not need us. This meant I got to stay home. I know Naomi would be in good hands while I was gone. I selfishly did not want to miss anything. Instead Adam and I got to go on a wonderful date! We played Lazar Quest. Adam placed second both times. Meanwhile I placed fifth the first time. The second game did not go so good for me. We also did some shopping and ate some wonderful Thai food as well as some ice cream! We had a wonderful time.

Naomi is so close to crawling on all fours. Right now her mode of transportation in the "army Crawl. It is quite adorable. She is learning so much. It is amazing. Also we have started giving her some carrot with her apples and cereal. I was amazed that she liked it as much as she did. She gobbled it up pretty good.
We are taking her six month pictures on Friday! It ought to be a good time. I hope we do not make the photographer mad like we did last time. Tonight we are going to have Naomi's fashion show to pick out what the lovely lady will ware.
