Saturday Signs...
My daughter is like me in many ways... recently it has been the rain. I remember loving to play in the rain. Now any time it is raining outside Naomi asks to play in the rain (I only allow it if there is no thunder/lightning and it is not poring.)

snuggle buddy.
Because puppies need snuggle buddies too.
Naomi has recently relinquished my old hush puppy and given it to Rubia so that she has her own snuggle buddy for nap/bed time. Each night she makes sure that Rubia has her "little puppy." So sweet!

rewind
I came across these pictures and I just had to share. It was from the day Adam got his new helmet for his motorcycle (Had I mentioned he was bale to get a new motorcycle last year?...I think I did...hmmm baby brain strikes again). Anyway, he was quite excited to get his helmet and matching leather chaps and jacket.
Naomi wanted to try the helmet on too.
She loves her daddy's motorcycle. Anytime she hears one she perks up "DADDY!?" Which is a lot. The town we live in is a big motorcycle drive through.
Oh and just for fun here I am (early pregnancy) with Adam's motorcycle.

"Getting a little tubby"
Yep we still love Tangled.
Naomi ended up getting a toddler Rapunzel doll from exchanges we made from her birthday. She totes the doll around with her almost every where. (I have now made the personal rule that I will not personally buy a doll that has more hair than me.) Believe me it is a "tangled" mess (hehe). So I have started braiding the dolls hair. It takes me 45 minutes to brush out then rebraid her hair. But it is so much fun to see Naomi enjoying the doll. Naomi loves to wear her purple dress so she can match the doll. It is so cute. In the long run it is worth it.

(It is a line from one of the songs in the movie for those who have not seen the movie).
We have not been very good about taking pregnancy pictures so this is as close as it gets currently. (We don't have many from when I was expecting Naomi so I guess it all works out.)

Saturday Signs...
I may go to Sonic a bit too much...
(I am giving this a shot. It is called Saturday Signs. I have been noticing random signs around me, some are real signs, others are figurative. Mostly I want something to keep me blogging regularly.)

art project
I tried to post this yesterday. Sadly I guess Blogger must have had some issues. So I will give this a shot again.
I was trying to figure out what to do with all of the random business magnets I have collected over the years. I typically display pictures, coupons, and reminders on the fridge. So I have quite a few because i uses them...however I did not like the clutters look of all the random businesses especially those that were from 2-3 houses ago. So what to do? Art project time!
I cut some scrap book paper to the size of the magnets I wanted to cover and I let Naomi decorate the paper. I figured why not display art with art!
Then I got out the glue and Mod Podge. (I added a drop of blue food coloring to the Mod Podge because Naomi chose the fish stickers to decorate.)
And the final result...
I also made a princess magnet with a birthday card invitation.
And now my fridge is not covered with random magnets!

Tangled
Naomi and "her Pascal"
A you can see some one has a new favorite movie. Back in December we took her to see Tangles in the theater. When the movie was over she asked to see it again. She LOVED the movie. She talked abut it for quite a while.
Fast forward a few months. The timing was perfect! Tangled came out before her birthday (Which was what I had hoped for) So Naomi got the movie for her birthday. We have had the movie in our house for almost a month and I think we have watched it almost a dozen times.
The whole family loves it. Yes that means Adam. Although I don't think he is willing to give up Cars as his favorite movie to watch with his daughter.
Well at one of the Easter egg hunts Naomi got this lizard. At first I was thinking that it is great to have a few boy toys around for company. then one day she found it and said "MY PASCAL! There you are!" So now my little Rapunzel lover has her own Pascal. Which also works well with the Rapunzel doll she got for her birthday.
