I am not huge on baby waring.  But I must say, it is convenient.  I got the Moby wrap a little late for it to be effective with Naomi.  Having all those layers as well  a little person who was 98.6 degrees in our barely air conditioned house in the middle of summer was not comfortable.  I did get it out for her once it cooled off but then I was a little intimadated by it. 

Well I knew with this baby that a wrap would be beneficial. Naomi is always on the go and so am I.  So while I am not always waring Bethany. It is not uncommon.  I also got a sling (for only the price of shipping!) because I thought that the heat might be an issue.

So, now, I must wearing Bethany enough that one day I found Naomi putting my sling on and putting her baby in it. So cute!   

 As a result I made Naomi her own sling for her baby.  It is not pictured here.  I need to get a picture of it.

I just love baby smiles!

So we make a pretty good set wouldn't you say?

 Hello again.  I can't believe the beautiful cool weather!  It is so nice out!  It is almost hard for me to believe that about a week ago it was hot enough to bake cookies in my car.  Yep you read that right in my car!


I had heard a few of my friends had done this over the summer.  I had hoped to try it too.  Then I had my chance.  It was supposed to be 105.  Adam suggested that we give it a try too.

When he came home for lunch we made some cookie dough.  Usually people do this with just chocolate chip cookies.  Adam wanted oatmeal. They turned out pretty chewy because of the oatmeal. Next summer We will have to try it with chocolate chip cookies.  I am sure Naomi will love it! 

Meet  our newest addition.  His name is Cortez.  He is our 12 week old kitten.  I named him Cortez because first I figured I should keep with our Spanish name theme that we have going on with Rubia and Pepe. Then I was quite amazed at how adventuresome he was.  He seemed to like the name because he started responding the evening after I named him.  He is VERY cuddly and amazing with Naomi.  Although he is not sure what to do with Bethany.  But he sure likes to sit in the Bumbo and her papa-sun chair.  I do enjoy having a cat in the house again.  I am so glad Cortez is a good purrer.  Bootsie was an amazing purbox of a cat, and Cortez seems to be doing quite well in that area as well.
