We thought we would finally post a picture of us together.... We spent the weekend at Sheila and Greg's home. Al helped A.J. on his home and his brother Ron needed some help also. Ron has lost a kidney and he really felt pretty bad on Saturday. They are having trouble getting his blood pressure under control... Our prayers are with him. We got to see Katie as she came home from College to see her Gramps... She is doing great and we are proud of her. May 9th Ashley graduates from College and so does Becky. We are so very proud of them... Ashley will be teaching school. Becky is trying to get on with the State of California. "Best Wishes" to both of them.
Al is doing pretty good with his testing. It is a challenge to change your way of eating after a life of complete freedom on foods. We still fall off the wagon but get right back on.....
Memorial Day weekend we are having a family get together and work on A.J. and Kayla's home for 3 days. It would be so good for them to get back into their home. It has been a very long year for them... We are praying for no more flooding there. You can't even imagine the damage their place has until you actually see it... "Bless them both" A.J. has done a wonderful job on the things he has been able to do....
Well, we love you all....... Gram and Gramps

Busy Month Already!!!!
Well, we do have the results back for Grandpa. They have taken him off of the Lipitor for another month and then we will see how he is doing. They also found out his sugar was higher than they liked so he is testing his blood sugar once a day and maintaining with diet at this point. He will go back on May 13th for a recheck and we feel everything will be okay. The bloody nose and the achy feeling in his bones and his legs seems to have subsided. While my brother Ken and his wife Debbie were here Al got real sick. Started dropping weight and couldn't eat. They had upped his Lipitor from 10 to 20 to 40. I freaked, but we went along with the program until bad things started happening and then I went to war with the heart doctor. They tried to tell me it couldn't be the Lipitor but I let them know that I KNEW better because I had already researched it. I had also made the appt. with the family doctor. She agreed with me.. They will start him on something else once the sugar is under complete control.... Meanwhile we are really minding our P's & Q's. (Grandpa does grumble but in the long run he will be happy)
Well, we love and miss all of you very much.......

Rob and Theresa with little ones at G & G's home
It has been a fun day with the grandkids.... The rubber snake was the icing on the cake. Of course you notice that Grandma is nowhere in sight. I hate that thing. I know it isn't real, but it still scares the daylights out of me......
Just so you know, Zack played the part real well...... He was a good sport as was Connor. He loved the snake. Wanted Grandpa to get it for him again after dinner, something about sleeping with it......

My how the family keeps growing. You will notice the little pooch in the above picture. He looks like he is made of yarn. We haven't seen the newest addition yet, but are looking forward to it.
Eveyone, including Kathy and Bob's family have been sick. I think Kathy and I got the worst of it. I went to emergency Friday night and I understand Kathy had to call the doctor several times for medicine changes. We needed the "good" cough medicine.....
Al and Bob just need to not take those marriage vows so seriously when it comes to the "Share and share alike."
We love you all and want Sara and Chaz to know that we loved the Baby pictures. He is really starting to look like his mother now... I believe it would be the faces he pulls... Sara was soooo full of expressions when she was little and espically when she wanted it "her way" or the highway......
