Happy Halloween

It's pumpkin carving season at the Taylor house.  This year the kids were finally old enough to do all of it themselves.  (sigh)
Rugby was very serious about his carving.  He searched the Internet for the perfect angry bird design.
Emerson spent most of his time playing with the "guts."
Brecky drew, drew, and redrew her design until it was just right.
Zoey and her Daddy had big plans.
From back to front, Emerson's bat, Tim's spider, and Breckyn's face.
Zoey's with the big "Z" on the side.
I went for a ghost this year.  I thought I need to change it up from my usual triangle special.
Rugby's angry birds with an R and angry birds written on the side.
Zoey's is actually Two Face.  She thought Cooper would appreciate it.
Em's is super batty just like him.

Happy Halloween!

Career Day

Today was career day at school.  I'm always interested in what the kids pick to be.
Breckyn went with her "go-to" these days.  Dog trainer extraordinaire.
Em was a basketball player.  The best part is when his headband slides down it makes him look like an angry basketball player.
He lost a tooth the other day in a crazy trampoline accident.  The neighbor tooth is hanging by a small thread but he insists that he will not let it come out for another couple of days.  He is spreading out the tooth fairy love.
Zoey went as me.  She wants to be me when she grows up.  I believe she has gone as me about three times now over the years.  I have to tell you her pick never gets old.  It's one of my prouder moments in motherhood.
Rugs had strong plans to be an XP spy guy but he woke up with a fever today.  He begged me to go to school because his Dad was going to lend him some of his sweet business spy guy stuff.  He really wanted to show his friends his cool gear.  When I explained that staying home included doing nothing and rotting your brains out with the TV and computer-- he was on board.  He looks pretty broken up about it, don't you think?

Harweenies

We got to spend a little time with the Harweenies today.
Cooper A.K.A. spider boy.  This kid cracks me up.  He has some sweet dance moves and priceless one liners.  He is always giggling about something.  I love it.
Cam is too smart for all of us.  He takes everything quite literally which makes for some fun tweaking.  He is a big kindergartner now and loves to play letter games.
This is Cassie and three of her biggest fans.  She is the coolest and everyone wants a piece of her when she is over.
Em is just so cute.  My baby boy.
Breckyn and Cam went head to head in a heated game of Mario Bros.
Em and Coop-- I mean Batmans.  I'm pretty sure these masks are never coming off.
Cass played tether ball with the kids and schooled 'um.  Oh yeah!
