Yesterday was Vinnies first birthday and I can't believe how fast the year has gone. I am really sad knowing that I do not have a baby anymore. He is so indepenant and wants to show everyone what he can do.
We took him to the Dr. yesterday and she was impressed with his development. She also thinks that we might not need the braces for his feet anymore. Other then that everything went well and here is where he is at:
Weight born: 9.13pounds 90% Now: 24.2 pounds 75% Total gained: about 15 pounds
Height born: 22.5inches 90% Now: 31.25 inches 90% Total grew: about 9.75 inches
Head born: 13inches 50% Now: 18.25 inches 50% Total grew: 5.25inches
When we got home last night, Sean had gotten some cupcakes so after dinner we sang and Vincent got to eat his cupcake. Next Saturday we are having his Birthday Party at my inlaws house and all Vincents friends and some family will be there.
It is amazing to me that this year has already come. Looking back I can't believe it is already over. I am scared to think how fast the years are going to start coming. Last year today I was sitting in the hospital holding my brand new baby and today my one year old just finished an eggo and now in bed asleep. I love my little Vinnie-the-poo (as Papa calls him) so much and he makes me so happy. Babies are truely a blessing and a joy.
