LAKE POWELL!!

My summer this year got started off really good! I had my birthday which was a blast and then the following week I left to go to Lake Powell. I didn't really know anyone going besides me, Tori, Eric, and a couple friends. Well Eric has some friends that he went to high school with that supposedly work for this multi millionare. His friend Dan planned the trip and although I was a little hesitant to go I told Tori I was in. HEck a powell trip for $150 was a pretty good deal!

Well I have to say it was by far one of the best trips I've EVER been on! We got there and it was raining but we went straight to the boats... Yes boats, plural. THe first one we got on was the animal house. It was so nice and so cute! Nicer than any other one I'd ever been on! THere were 4 rooms, a huge living room, kitchen dining room and 3 bathrooms. I thought we hit the jack pot til they took us down to the other one. I was one out of 9 that got to sleep on it the first night. Oh don't worry it was just a 5 million dollar house boat! The most beautiful thing I've ever seen!!!! There was a massive kitchen, huge living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms with one bed and a bathroom, and then two more beds with bunkbeds and bathrooms, a garage, a washer and dryer, a computer room, a huge upstairs hang out with a big projector and movie screen, and a massive granite bar top complete with a snow cone maker, fresh orange juice maker, a huge grill, and even a line of taps for different sodas! IT was the best!!! I was in heaven!

Me and Tor on our initial drive down to Provo

We picked up some of her friends and we made anklets, bracelets, and head bands on the way down.
These would be heaven on the water. There were about 46 of us. (beautiful people) That's about a third of us.

The kitchen. Too bad the groceries are covering it cuz it was beautiful. The WHOLE boat was newly remodeled!

That was only when you first walk in. I wish I would've gotten pictures of everything!

Good thing we were prepared and had enough life jackets for 15 people!Just a few of usThis was the slip n slide they built! They hooked a bungee at the bottom that took 5 guys to get it to the top! Grab on, they let go, and you fly!

SEe that helicopter...That's right I got to ride in it!!! ....Twice. It was the owners. He took us all for rides. We didn't even have to pay extraGot our headsets on!

Me and Cole

One of the most incredible experiences I've ever had! What a view!
He would head straight towards the mountains and at the last minute make a sharp upward motion. It was crazy and made your stomach dropThe next day when we went again we got to jump out when he brought us back!!!! So crazy and so so SO much fun!!!

I don't have my picture cuz it happened so fast that I couldn't grab my camera for anyone to take mine. Some one has one of me tho. I need to get it.

These boys jumped and then he lowered down to the water and picked them up by the bottom and took them back up high and they all did crazy tricks off!
These were the prettiest canyons! We went for a hike through them but the water got so nasty! We had black sticks and poky things all over in our swim suits :( We climbed up the rocks and hiked for a while on top until suddenly a big storm came really quick and we had to run back.Ha ha I love jabell!

My birthday

This year for my birthday Tori planned a small get together with our friends down at the park. It was a lot of fun. We ate hot dogs (My favorite), played volleyball, and then did a little slack lining. It was a lot of fun! My parents got me a bike for my birthday. I have wanted a beach cruiser for a long time now and I absolutely love it!! My dad and I assembled it together which was a lot of fun and then we took it out to the street for the first ride!

Just a little slack lining!
Just my new bike!!!

My dad and I built it together! He's the greatest

This past April our team ventured to Daytona Beach, Florida. WE put in a lot of hours in the gym filled with joy, stress, anxiety, and excitement. We competed the first day and we went into finals in 4th place. We went hoping for first but knew it was a long shot. The second day we did alot better. We had one fall in our partner stunt section (glad it wasn't me this time). And one half our pyramid fell. MIne :( Well not really fell. WE had stumbles underneath that fell so it just didn't go up. SFA was our biggest rival and they had a pretty amazing routine with high difficulty. WE knew it'd be close to impossible to beat them. WE also went up against Arkansas who is pretty incredible. All the teams had falls that day so we knew it'd be pretty close but we put ourselves as coming in third. On the stage they announced the 5th and 4th place teams and we were happy they weren't us. They announce 3rd which we were all ready for but surprisngly they announced Arkansas. We were all freaking out! We couldn't believe that we beat them and we got 2nd. The announcer then said that the first place team won by less than a tenth of a point! Ugh, we dropped our heads cuz we couldn't believe we'd gotten SO close to a national title. SFA was already the 6 time reigning champs and had a big name for themselves. We knew they wouldn't take that away from them. We sat there for a good 30 seconds, anxious for them to announce the winner. They started to say the home town of the second place team and we were all so confused. THey were saying OGden wrong!! Thanks alot NCA. It really took us a minute to comprehend that they were saying SFA's home town and us, WEber STate took FIRST PLACE!!!! We celebrated on stage for a good 5 minutes at least! THey just let us go wild cuz nobody ever does cuz they're all used to the same teams winning every year. It was the most surreal moment! WHen I realized I looked up to my parents who were just screaming and jumping in celebration and I just screamed with them and then with my team. I've never had so many people tell us good job afterwards. Everybody at the competition was so excited for us. They said they've been waiting for years for a team to come along and give SFA a run for their money.
I couldn't have had a better top off to my year and career as a Weber State cheerleader! Best moment I've ever had!!
I wanted to thank all my friends and family for all the support and love and patient they've had and given me for the past 8 years of cheer! It been the most stressful but rewarding years of my life! :) It's definitely bittersweet to be done but I'm excited for what the future has instore for me

I feel like we were drunk at the park. We were in the weirdest moods! Us in action as freaks.

Our hair wraps! We were pretty excited for them. I left mine in for 3 months, it got pretty discusgting!

Travis really wanted to hit up the water rides so I sucked it up and went with him. These are us on the rides. You can't see but my face is pretty distressed here!

I really didn't want to get wet! Ha ha so I took off my shirt and shoes and tried to at least salvage them.
