Lehi Round Up

This last week has been so much fun. Don't get me wrong I'm glad it has come to a end. My kids can finally go to bed on time and hopefully in a few more days they will start waking up happy but it's all been worth it. We have been to concerts in the park, carnivals ( yes they are still trashy) but the kids love them, parades, movies, lunch for $1, 2 nights of rodeos, swimming and yes it has all come to a end. We love celebrating round up days Lehi does a great job with all the activity's they provide during the week and most of them are free so how can you pass that up. We had a great time but I think if we dragged T to one more event he would of snapped he would joke that he was running for mayor with all the community activity's he was forced to attend. I love this time of year even if it is smoldering hot and you would do anything for a little piece of shade just so your clothes don't stick to ya. Whats not to love about that Right!
Dace took this Picture with my phone to bad his dad had to be a cheese ball

Happy Birthday T

He is Definitely Smoking Hot
Happy Birthday T Thanks for being the best Husband Ever!!!! T has been "running" like crazy. He did the Saratoga 5K last week and then ran the Lehi 5K this week and did amazing but someone needs to tell him it's couch to 5k not 5K to couch Ha Ha!!! Now if he could just work his mad running skills on his kids that would be a plus for some reason my kids lack that gene. T your the best and I'm so thankful for all that you do for us even if it does give you grey hair. I appreciate all the hard work you do so that I can be home with our herd of kids. Happy Birthday you smoking hot fella love ya long time good buddy old pal.

LAKE POWELL

CAPTAIN DACE

FAMILY TUBING

Last week we (the kids and I) got to go to Lake Powell with T's family it was so much fun. I was glad to leave the cold weather and actually enjoy a little bit of SUMMER. My kids swam none stop and were busy the whole time I don't think I ever heard them say they were bored or there is nothing to do. They hiked ,caught lizards, played in the sand, went tubing and played, played, played. Oh and I forgot they also cried at night when I had to lube them up from to much SUN, but trust me that's better then them crying because so and so hit them or because there was nothing fun for them to do. Ray was such a good little boat baby she was prepared for whatever whenever and loved having everyone around. I think she wonders where all the people went that would entertain her or should I say that she would entertain all week. I'm thankful for this time I had to spend with my kids and my family and know these are memories we will always
cherish.

Tooth Less

Daeg after 5 long "wiggly" months finally lost his first tooth while we were in Lake Powell. He was so excited to get that tooth out and be able to eat without it hurting him anymore. As for his mom naturally you would think because of my profession and having the chance to pin down one of my kids just to hear them squeal :) I would of been just as excited for the chance to pull his tooth, but I cracked under pressure I couldn't do it!!! (THANKS ANGIE) It made me sad. He is just growing so fast and I didn't want to part with that cute little baby smile of his yes maybe I am a little vain.... but I hate the whole transitioning stage from baby teeth to permanent it STINKS!!! Oh but do you think he cares nope he is more than willing to flash that toothless grin at me whenever I ask, and can't wait to loose another one so he can get more money from the tooth fairy.

TAG

Favorite Ice Cream: This may be odd but I don't really love ice cream. Don't get me wrong I'll eat it but it's never something I crave. If I would have to pick I would say I'm a sucker for one of grandma B's neapolitan ice cream cones.

Favorite Childhood Memory:
Turning 5 and getting my ears pierced for my birthday, and when my mom would braid my hair at night and put curlers in the end so I would have curly hair. I still do this once in awhile when I'm to lazy at night to dry my hair .

Fave Color: Pink!!!!

Love to Read: Hmm... I wish I had the desire to read more often. If you know my daughter you would think her mom must constantly have her nose in a book. She loves books and that consumes a good part of her day we are either reading or setting up a library in the living room so yes i do love reading with her.

Birthday: March 24

Heels or flip flops: 100% Flip Flops I'm so uncoordinated when it comes to walking sometimes I fall off my big chunky flip flops :)

My dream car would be: So I love my Aspen it's like a little slice of heaven. But if I didn't have to haul around the Brady Bunch. I think I would want a Charger

Top 3 Stores: I'm in a love hate relationship with Target I think Ray owns everything in the little girls section I always go there for one thing and come out with 10. Down East Outfitters and Gymboree

One person I'd love to meet who is alive: Kenny Chesney!!!! Oprah and Ellen

How many kids would you LOVE to have..you know if you actually had to say it? I would LOVE to have 12 but where would I hide them from T? lets be Honest 3 keeps me pretty busy.......

Second Job (not first or current): KenKraft who would of thought. I was a Candy Confectioner Artist. I decorated candy canes, bubble gum, the sugar eggs that you look inside of and the gingerbread man cookies with frosting

Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Walker my kindergarten teacher I remember the day she let us all try to count to 100 weird huh . My 5th grade teacher Mr. Faulk

Something people would be shocked to know about me: I wouldn't say it's shocking but I pretty much have OCD about laundry T doesn't even know why we own a dryer because I have to hang dry pretty much everything except towels, socks and things like that. When T accidentally drys something that he shouldn't I act like it's no big deal but it is and there is nothing I can do about it... It takes me about an hour or more to clean the bathroom b/c I feel like every inch of it has to be disinfected gotta love those boys.

And then tell us how you met your honey:It's kind of a little serendipity I think. T graduated before I was in high school so I never really knew him but I would here people talk about him and refer to him as "big Trev" (since there was two of them) friends would wave to him and I would always ask who is that they would say Trev then I would ask big Trev or little Trev? This went on for 3 years and my answer was always hmm.. I don't know him no big deal right. Then after I graduated our friends were dating and he was doing electrical at her house(does that surprise anybody) still didn't have a clue who he was he asked her if she had any single friends and LUCKY ME, I was just recently single we met, we kissed and we were engaged 4 months later. who does that? okay so we might of dated before the kiss but the kiss sealed the deal for me WOW!!! I was on cloud nine. I thought it was funny T hung out with my ex boyfriend before we started dating and he would bash me( he didn't even know me) because of course I was the horrible ex girlfriend if any of you could imagine, and after we started dating he realized who I was and told me, Oh I totally bashed on you with your ex at my house a few weeks ago what a PUNK !!! I sure do love him though.

Crying For Cocoa Puffs

The other day I was back in the bedroom and I hear Ray crinkling paper. I asked her what she was doing and no answer. So I waited a few minutes thinking no big deal it's just paper. I asked her again what you doing sis and she says "I making a mess" Hmm... whats new she's always making a mess. So I come out into the living room where she has spilled the whole box of Cocoa Puffs and is sitting in the middle having a feast. I told her to start picking it up and she said Oh Tay!!! Well she makes it about 2 -3 hand fulls and looks at me and said "No you pick it up Momma" with her little noes scrunched up. We go back and fourth for a few minutes and I give up and start helping her put it back in the box. Not realizing at the moment that she is walking all over it so it will have to go in the garbage anyways. We get it all picked up and she looks at me and said "good job momma you happy" Yep sure am!!!! Then I had to be the bearer of bad news that she wasn't playing in the cereal anymore as the tears start flowing and she's hugging the box saying don't there mine.

I thought it was funny that in the conner you can see the little bag that I would normally put her cereal in for a treat, so she did have good intentions at first I think.

Who's Child is This????

Honestly I have no idea but she has made her way into our home and possibly our hearts YIKES. So I guess it's true the more children you have you just let your guard down a little more about what you will let them do... Normally I would be horrified to say she was mine but she was for sure the cutest thing at the park even if she was running around without a shirt on. Looking at this picture I think I need to be admitted QUICK and I'm sure my sisters are in disbelief that I let her do this being that I don't usually even leave the house without the kids hair done and a bucket of hand sanitizer. Honestly who lets their kids do this have I lost total control of my almost 2 year old. Well to justify this chaos and trust me it still doesn't make it right, we had just got to the park and got are blanket set out and she had shoved her sandwich in her mouth and started to gag and ended up spitting up all over her shirt. I couldn't just pack up and leave well I could of, but then I would have to deal with the boys and their big tears. What other option did I have besides to let her run around like an orphan, and of course I had the moms there that would giggle when they saw her and then do what I would of done and discussed the fact she didn't have a shirt on. Trust me I will think twice about that now. So for now I will claim this wild little girl full of adventure as mine or maybe just as T's because my kids are the ones that just barley figured out that it okay to get dirty because mom always has wet wipes to wash up afterwards.....

Kindergarten Graduation

Yes it's official Daeg has graduated from Kindergarten. I think it's funny that they still get the same old slip that says you have advanced to the next grade. I cant believe I will have a 1st grader goodness I must be getting old.... It was so fun to go to their class celebration the kids were so cute and Mrs. Wright sure has all the fluff to be a K teacher, she was so cute with them she always referred to them as her little friends Daeg had said I sure hope Dace gets her shes been such a great friend how cute is that. He was pretty emotional on the last day of school it broke my heart to see him so upset about missing Mrs. Wright we had a good little talk and of course he needed to call his grandma and talk about it to. I'm so proud of him and what a good little friend he was to everyone, many times I would drop him off and just giggle about how we would shout Hi to everyone he knew. I have no idea where this little social bug came from. In their class slide show I noticed he was always surrounded by girls and cute ones to. His dad says thats because he's nice but, he needs to learn nice once never get the girls oh brother. I can't believe this school year is already over and how my once little "lumpy" baby has turned into a string bean little boy he is growing up way to fast...........

Did anyone happen to notice the girl next to me is crying what do I do?
